- the present invention provides a fuel additive for mixing with a fuel, comprising: nonyl phenol having a ratio of 416% by weight, aliphatic amide having a ratio of 2-14% by weight, alkaline metallic petroleum sulfonate having a ratio of 1-10% by weight, propolis (or beeswax) having a ratio of 10-90% by weight, a stabilizer having a ratio of 1 - 10% by weight, and combustion booster having a ratio 1 -30% by weight.
- the stabilizer comprises a compound selected from the group consisting of OP, Tween, Span, and the combination of OP, Tween and Span.
- the aliphatic amide comprises a compound selected from the group consisting of succinyl imine, polyene amide, and the combination of succinyl imine and polyene amide.
- the combustion booster comprises the compound selected from the group consisting of naphxhene acidic salt, 5- carbonyl based iron, and the combination of naphthene acidic salt and 5-carbonyl based iron.
- the fuel additive of the present invention is adapted to keep the fuel system of the vehicle, such as engine and carburetor, clean especially when the driver keeps mixing the fuel additive with the fuel over a period of continued use.
- the fuel system of the vehicle is continuously cleaned up during normal operation through tine flow of fuel so as to prolong the maintenance time of the vehicle.
- the fuel additive can lubricate the fuej system to prevent the metal surface from being rusted and to prevent the mechanical parts from attrition.
- the fuel additive of the present invention is adapted for enhancing the efficiency of combustion and for reducing the harmful material from the exhaust gas.

- the process of manufacturing the fuel additive of the present invention comprises the following steps.
- Another application of using the fuel additive of the present invention is that when 3 grams of fuel additive is added into 20 liter diesel fuel for a diesel vehicle, the diesel consumption can be saved at least 15% in comparison with the diesel fuel without adding the fuel additive. Under the Diesel Oil Engine Bench Performance testing, the vehicle fueled with the fuel additive and fuel with the ratio of 1 :4000 by weight can save at least 1.5% in comparison with the vehicle fueled only with the fuel.
