Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur stereoselektiven Synthese von chiralen Diolen, chiralen Hydroxyketonen, chiralen Alkoholen und deren Derivate, bei dem als Substrat ein Dion, ein prochirales Keton oder ein Hydroxyketon in eine Kultur ganzer Zellen gegeben wird, welche ein Enzym produzieren, das als Katalysator für die Umsetzung des Substrats dient. Erfindungsgemäß wird zunächst in Enzymnegative Zellen mindestens eine rekombinante Nukleinsäure eingebracht, die zumindest das Gen für das Enzym umfasst, und anschließend werden die derart hergestellten Enzym-positiven Zellen für die Synthese eingesetzt.
