Description
THE METAL PALLET TRAY AND STACKING SYSTEM
Technical Field
The invention relates to a metal pallet and a system for stacking it in a container. Specifically, the metal pallet has an attaching frame that is at the same time functioning as a supporting frame for the pallet stacked on it.
Background Art: Recently, the use of pallet is very extensive, both for handling hard materials and soft materials. The use of pallet seems to be very practical, where goods placed on it will be orderly arranged and fixed in amount so that this makes a positive impact for trade activities particularly in shipping goods and loading or unloading them. The goods are still in the ordered stacking and with a countable amount or in other words, they could be counted exactly if there is a difference amount of goods in a pallet . Conventionally, a pallet is generally made from wood or plastic materials, which are apparently cheap in cost for making them. However, due to environment aspects recently, wood constitutes protected raw materials, which are limited for the purpose of environmental preservation.
Goods placed on a pallet commonly has a fixed quantity and packed using plastic ropes or wires or other materials in order to make them strongly tied to the pallet. However, there is a problem in the practice to arrange pallets both in storage cabins and in containers for later shipping of the goods. When pallets are arranged in row lines, there will be a necessity for a very big space or yard. Whereas, if pallets are arranged in a stacking, another problem will exist where the goods
placed in the bottom part of stacking will be broken, particularly if the goods are fragile or at least, the packaging or supporting for the goods in the bottom part will be broken. US Patent US-6880311 disclosed a system and device for stacking the goods on a pallet, wherein the pallet had a wall surrounding the stacked goods so that the goods placed inside will always be in a stable position. Also Patent US 6327984 described a pallet having a foldable pallet floor. The pallet floor has two or more foldable wings at its respective ends and its central part. With these foldable wings in which the pallet leg holes are placed on it, this make the pallet legs could be kept inside the pallet leg holes existing under the wings. Then, the pallets could be shipped and stored in a stack and this does not need a big storage room.
Another Patent US 6095292 disclosed a metal pallet where its floor part was made of a plate in arrangement of intersecting with a number of concrete metal, where the concrete metal are piled in the plate with welding so upper surface is confined by the concrete metal while it is also confined by the metal plate.
Among several pallets described above, none of them disclosed the system to stack pallets in loaded conditions, yet it had been disclosed that the problems frequently happened in the practice where goods could be broken due to very extensive load or impossibility to stack loaded pallets on other loaded pallets.
Thus, the invention has an objective to solve the problem happened or to improve the pallets existing previously .
