Abstract

The present invention relates to use of 1,7-dioxaspiro[5.5]undecane and related compounds of the general formula (I) for the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment or prevention of erectile dysfunction (ED). The invention further provides a method for the treatment or prevention of ED by administering 1,7-dioxaspiro[5.5]undecane or a related compound of the general formula (I) as an active ingredient, thereby treating and/or preventing ED.
