Abstract

La présente invention concerne des procédés pour obtenir une perte ou un gain de poids chez un sujet en utilisant la stimulation cérébrale profonde (DBS). L'invention concerne en outre des procédés de traitement pour une large diversité de troubles du poids, comprenant des conditions impliquant un excédent de poids, par exemple l'obésité, et une insuffisance de poids, notamment des troubles de l'alimentation, par exemple, l'anorexie mentale, la boulimie et le trouble de frénésie alimentaire.
