Abstract

Reactor epitaxial para la producción de obleas a gran escala Es de alto rendimiento para industria fotovoltaica. Su principal innovación es la elevada densidad de apilamiento de susceptores, separados unos 4 cms. Éstos se colocan verticales, paralelos entre sí, interconectados, y se calientan por efecto Joule. La corriente llega por pasamuros especialmente diseñados, que conectan el exterior (temperatura ambiente), con los susceptores (1000 °C). Un gas fluye entre susceptores. Unos sustratos se colocan sobre éstos. Debajo de ellos se encuentra una antecámara, para distribuir el gas entrante de forma homogénea y eliminar turbulencias. Todo está dentro de una cámara de acero inoxidable, recubierta internamente de material reflectante, y enfriada externamente por agua. Susceptores y antecámara están fijos a un panel posterior de conexiones, que también contiene pasamuros eléctricos, pasamuros de termopares, y entrada y salida de gases. Los gases de salida se recirculan parcialmente, ahorrando gas y aumentando la eficiencia.
