Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[25] Hereinbelow, the present invention will be described in greater detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[26] FIGS. 1 through 3 show the first embodiment of the present invention, in which
FIG. 1 is a side sectional view of the container according to the first embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a lower view of the lid of the FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 is a
perspective view of the containing member of FIG. 1.
[27] The container 100 according to the first embodiment of the present invention is comprised of a container body 10, a lid 20, and a containing member 30.
[28] The container body 10 is prepared to contain the liquid such as mineral water, beverage, or the like, and an opening is formed on the upper part thereof which is used to inject the liquid into the container body 10 or to pour the liquid in the container body 10. A screwed portion 11 assembled with the lid 20 is formed on the outer circumference of the container body 10 near the opening.
[29] The lid 20 is prepared to open/close the upper opening of the container body 10, and a screwed portion 21 assembled with the screwed portion 11 of the container body 10 is formed on the inner surface thereof. The screwed portion 21 of the lid 20 is assembled with the screwed portion 11 of the container body 10 by twisting the lid 20 on the opening.
[30] Meanwhile, a fixing portion 25 for fixing the containing member 30 is prepared on the inside of the lid 20. As shown in FIG. 2, the fixing portion 25 is formed by the protrusions protruding inward of the inside of the lid 20, and in such a situation, four protrusions are arranged radially. The shape and the number of the protrusions can be modified in a various manner, such as a circular rib.
[31] Furthermore, a circular protruding rib 23 is formed on the inner side of the lid 20, and the protruding rib 23 is in airtight contact with the area near the opening while the lid 20 is assembled with the container body 10. Thus, the leakage of the mineral water is prevented while the lid 20 is assembled.
[32] The containing member 30 is installed at the inside of the lid 20 so that it is located at the inside of the container body 10. As shown in FIG. 3, the containing member 30 forms a containing space therein, and is comprised of a web 31 of which upper part is open and a rim 33 attached on the upper part of the web 31. The upper surface of the rim 33 is contacted with the inside of the lid 20. In that situation, the outer edge of the rim 33 is inserted into and then hooked with the fixing portion 25 of the lid 20, so the rim 33 is detachably fixed to the lid 20.
[33] Therefore, the containing member 30 can be disassembled with the lid 20 when a user pulls the containing member 30 and the lid 20 from each other to be detached, and the containing member 30 can be assembled with the lid 20 when the user pushes the containing member 30 into the inside of the lid 20.
[34] The user puts the green tea bag, tea power, or the like into the containing space of the containing member 30 after disassembling the containing member 30 from the lid 20, and then assembles the containing member 30 with the lid 20 and assembles the lid with the container body 10. In such a situation, the web 31 of the containing member 30 is immersed into the mineral water in the container body 10, and therefore, the
green tea in the tea bag or the powder type green tea is infused into the mineral water in the container body 10. Therefore, the user can infuse the green tea into the mineral water in ordinary times, and he/she can drink it while possessing usually.
[35] Meanwhile, when the quantity of the remaining mineral water is small, it is possible to infuse the green tea by laying the container body 10 down from the state as shown in FIG. 1.
[36] Meanwhile, the web 31 doesn't have to be dense when the tea bag type tea is infused since there is little probability of leakage of tea powder, so the web 31 can be manufactured with plastic material or the like having a wide mesh construction.
[37] However, considering the powder type tea, it is preferable that the web 31 is very dense. The dense web 31 capable of preventing the leakage of tea powder into the mineral water is preferably made not of the plastic but of the cloth that can be employed in manufacturing the tea bag. In such a case, the web 31 seems to be rather a pouch than the web since the mesh of the web 31 is too dense.
[38] Considering such a case, the term "web" or "web shape" in the description of the invention and claims is employed with the concept including the construction that is so dense as not to be seen as a mesh with the naked eye. The term "web" is defined as the concept that includes all kinds of materials or shapes through which the water can flow to each other between the containing space in the container member 30 and the inner space of the container body 10 and thus the tea infused in the containing space in the containing member 30 can be mixed with the mineral water in the container body 10.
[39] FIG. 4 is a partial side sectional view of the container according to the second embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 5 is a partial enlarged view of FIG. 4. In the description of the embodiments below, the elements same with or similar to those in the first embodiment will be referred to with the same or similar reference numerals.
[40] In the second embodiment shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the container body 10, the lid
20 and the containing member 30 are similar to those in the first embodiment. However, the assembly construction between the containing member 30 and the lid 20 in the present embodiment is different from that of the first embodiment.
[41] That is, the fixing portion 25 fixes the containing member 30 by hooking the outer edge of the rim 33 of the containing member 30 in the first embodiment, however, in the present embodiment, the fixing portion 25a has the screwed assembly construction at the inside thereof and the rim 33a of the containing member 30 also has the screwed construction at the outer side thereof so as to correspond to the screwed construction of the fixing portion 25a. Therefore, the lid 20 and the containing member 30 can be assembled and disassembled with each other by twisting the containing member 30.
[42] According to such a construction, the assembly of the containing member 30 can be
more steadfast in comparison with the construction of the first embodiment, and undesired disassembly between each other can be prevented.
[43] FIG. 6 shows the modification of the container shown in FIG. 4.
[44] In this modification, the positions of the fixing portion and the rim are reversed in comparison with the first embodiment. In other words, the fixing portion 23a- 1 has the screwed portion formed at the outer surface thereof and the rim 33a- 1 has the screwed portion formed at the inner surface thereof. The diameter of the rim 33a-l is greater than that of the fixing portion 25 a- 1, and the rim 33 a- 1 is engaged with the outer surface of the fixing portion 25 a- 1.
[45] FIG. 7 is a partial side sectional view of the container according to the third embodiment of the present invention.
[46] In the present embodiment, the container body 10, the lid 20 and the containing member 30 are also similar to those in the first embodiment. However, the construction of the rim 33b of the containing member 30 is different from that of the first and second embodiments.
[47] In other words, the diameter of the rim 33b is greater than the diameter of the opening of the container body 30 in the present embodiment, and accordingly, the rim 33b can be loaded on the upper end of the container body 10. The rim 33b is hooked by the protrusion shape fixing portion 25a-2 formed on the inner side of the lid 20 to be fixed on the inner side of the lid 20.
[48] According to such a construction, there is an advantage that the rim 33b cannot be inserted into the container body 10 since the diameter of the rim 33b is greater than that of the opening of the container body 10.
[49] Furthermore, according to such a construction, the lid 20 can be assembled with the container body 10 after the rim 33b is loaded on the opening so that the web 31 of the containing member 30 is accommodated in the container body 10. Therefore, the fixing portion 25a-2 is not essential in this embodiment, and the construction of the lid 20 can be simpler if the fixing portion 25a-2 is not formed.
[50] FIG. 8 is a partial side sectional view of the container according to the fourth embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 9 is a lower view of the lid shown in FIG. 8, and FIG. 10 is a perspective view of the containing member shown in FIG. 8.
[51] In the present embodiment, the web 3 Ia of the containing member 30 is so formed that the cross section thereof has the shape of a doughnut, and the rim 33c is comprised of an inner small rim and an outer large rim. In other words, the containing member 30 forms the containing space over all inner area of the lid 20 in the aforementioned embodiments, however, the containing member 30 forms the containing space exclusive of the central area of the lid 20 in the present embodiment. Further, in conformity with the double rim construction of the rim 33c, the fixing portion 25b is formed to the
shape that can fix the outer edge of the outer large rim and the inner edge of the inner small rim.
[52] Such a construction is appropriate not for the portable mineral water bottle but for the large mineral water bottle used for a general water heater/cooler appliance. That is, the large mineral water bottle for the water heater/cooler appliance is generally installed to be turned upside down so that the opening thereof is located downward, and in such an appliance, the mineral water bottle is loaded on the appliance after the lid 20 is opened or not opened. In the mineral water bottle that is loaded on the water heater/cooler appliance while the lid thereof is not opened, a sharp shaft for sticking the center of the lid 20 to break the lid 20 is prepared at the center of the area that the reversed bottle is loaded. Then, the mineral water is supplied to the water heater/cooler appliance while the mineral water bottle is loaded on the appliance.
[53] The mineral water container employed in such a type of water heater/cooler appliance preferably has the construction shown in the present embodiment so that the containing member 30 is arranged exclusive of the central area of the lid 20 since the central area of the lid 20 is broken by the sharp shaft of the water heater/cooler appliance.
[54] Accordingly, when the containing member 30 is installed on the water heater/cooler appliance after the green tea bag or the like is put into the containing member 30 and the lid 20 is assembled, the lid 20 is broken by the sharp shaft without the damage of the containing member 30. Accordingly, the tea can be infused naturally from the green tea bag or the like in the containing member 30, and the user can drink the green tea mineral water usually.
[55] FIG. 11 is a side sectional view of the container according to the fifth embodiment of the present invention.
[56] The present invention shows the example that the opening is formed on the lower side of the container body 10 as well as the upper side of the container body 10.
[57] The opening formed on the upper side of the container body 10 is opened/closed by the upper lid 20, and the opening formed on the lower side is opened/closed by the lower lid 20a. The containing member 30 is disposed between the lower lid 20a and the container body 10. Other construction of the containing member 30 is the same with that of the third embodiment.
[58] The container having the above construction keeps the containing member 30 immersed into the mineral water while the container stands right even when the mineral water in the container body 10 is reduced, since the container member 30 is disposed at the lower area. Accordingly, the tea can be infused even without laying down the container in which the mineral water is reduced.
[59] FIG. 12 is a side sectional view of the container according to sixth embodiment of
the present invention.
[60] In the present embodiment, the construction of the lid 20c is different from that of a general container, in which the construction of the container body 10 is general and a separate containing member 30 as shown in the aforementioned embodiments does not exist.
[61] The lid 20c is comprised of a first lid 2Oc-I, a containing portion 20c-2, and a second lid 20c-3. The first lid 2Oc-I opens/closes the opening of the container body 10, and the containing portion 20c-2 is formed to a cylinder shape on the first lid 2Oc-I so as to form a containing space. The second lid 20c-3 is an auxiliary lid that opens/closes the containing portion 20c-2.
[62] A web-shaped partitioning portion 20c-4 is disposed between the containing portion
20c-2 and the first lid 2Oc-I, which partitions the inner space of the container body 10 and the containing space of the containing portion 20c-2 while the first lid 20c- 1 is installed on the container body 10. The water can flow between the containing space of the containing portion 20c-2 and the inner space of the container body 10 due to the web-shaped partitioning portion 20c-4.
[63] Accordingly, the user puts the tea bag or the like into the containing space in the containing portion 20c-2 after opening the second lid 20c- 3, and then closes the second lid 20c-3. Then the user can pour or drink the mineral water in the container body 10 by opening the first lid 2Oc-I.
[64] According to such a construction, the user can feel greater convenience in using the container.
[65] FIG. 13 shows a modification of FIG. 12.
[66] In the present modification, in comparison with the embodiment shown in FIG. 12, there is a difference that the partitioning portion 20c-4 in FIG. 12 has a shape of a disc, and the partitioning portion 20c-4a in FIG. 13 has a shape of a bucket.
[67] The function of the partitioning portion 20c-4a is substantially the same with that of the embodiment shown in FIG. 12. However, according to the partitioning portion 20c-4 of the present modification, the volume of the overall containing space becomes great since the containing space of the containing portion 20c-2 is elongated in the downward direction. Accordingly, it is easy to put a large tea bag into the containing space of the containing portion 20c-2, and it is possible to shorten the height of the containing portion 20c-2 itself.
[68] Meanwhile, in such a construction of the container according to the present invention, the web and the rim of the containing member can be formed integrally in a body and can be attached to each other after being manufactured separately. When the containing member is made of plastic material or the like, it is preferable to manufacture in a body to simplify the manufacturing process and reduce the costs.
Industrial Applicability
[69] According to the present invention, there are advantages that the user can infuse the tea with the container itself without any kinds of additional tools such as a cup, thereby drinking the mineral water infused with the tea conveniently, and the user doesn't have to wait long time to infuse the tea before drinking.
[70] While this invention has been described in connection with what is presently considered to be the most practical and preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiment and the drawings, but, on the contrary, it is intended to cover various modifications and variations within the spirit and scope of the appended claims.
