Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil et un procédé de balayage permettant de traiter un substrat, l’appareil de balayage comprenant une première liaison et une seconde liaison couplées de façon rigide l’une à l’autre au niveau d’un premier raccord, la première liaison et la seconde liaison étant couplées en rotation à une partie de base par le premier raccord, en y définissant un premier axe. Un effecteur, sur lequel réside le substrat, est couplé à la première liaison. La seconde liaison est couplée à un premier actionneur via au moins un second raccord. Le premier actionneur peut être actionné pour translater le second raccord par rapport à la partie de base, en y faisant tourner les première et seconde liaisons autour du premier axe et en translatant le substrat le long d’un premier chemin de balayage de manière oscillante. Un dispositif de commande peut être également actionné pour maintenir une vitesse de translation généralement constante de l’effecteur dans une plage de balayage prédéterminée.
