Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système de rétroéclairage à balayage (B2) à plusieurs sources lumineuses (TL1, TL2, TL3, L1). Certaines de ces sources sont pilotées en mode balayage, d'autres l'étant en mode continu. Le système comprend des sources lumineuses qui réunies émettent trois couleurs primaires telles que vert, rouge et bleu. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, le vert est piloté en mode balayage, le rouge l'étant en mode continu. Dans un système de rétroéclairage à balayage où le vert est émis en mode balayage, les artéfacts de mouvement provoqués par le flou de bougé seront fortement réduits parce que la sensibilité de l'oeil humain à la couleur verte est relativement élevée. Par contraste, lorsque c'est le rouge qui est émis en mode de continu, l'impact d'un système d'afficheur sur la reproduction du mouvement sera moindre parce que la sensibilité de l'oeil humain au rouge primaire est relativement basse. Le coût du système de rétroéclairage à balayage sera réduit si seulement certaines des sources lumineuses sont pilotées en mode balayage.
