[19] A preferred embodiment of the invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[20] FIG. 1 is a schematic sectional view illustrating internal and external construction of a painting booth according to the present invention, FIG. 2 is a schematic sectional view illustrating a process of painting an automobile in the painting booth according to the present invention, FIG. 3 is a schematic sectional view illustrating an operating state of a halogen heater according to the present invention, FIG. 4 is a schematic sectional view illustrating a halogen heater for a ceiling according to the present invention, FIG. 5 is a schematic sectional view illustrating a halogen heater of the surface of a wall according to the present invention, and FIG. 6 is a perspective view illustrating a shading louver mounted to the halogen heaters of the ceiling and the wall surface according to the present invention.
[21] The painting booth 1 according to the present invention includes an entrance space
11 capable of allowing the automobile 2 such as a passenger car and so on to sufficiently come and go therein and doors of opening and closing structure (not shown) formed at the front and rear sides thereof and capable of covering up the entrance space 11 during the closing thereof.
[22] The painting booth 1 according to the present invention further includes an air blower 3 for inducting the exterior air and sending it to the entrance space 11 and an exhaust fan 4 for exhausting the air of the entrance space 11 to the outside in order to ventilate the entrance space 11 at one side or both sides of the painting booth 1.
[23] The air blower 3 serves to induct the exterior air through an induction duct 31 and send it to a ceiling air passage 12, which is formed at the ceiling of the painting booth
I. Also, an induction filter 32 for filtering an external material (a dust and so on) from the inducted air is formed at the induction duct 31.
[24] The air sent to the ceiling air passage 12 is again filtered in a ceiling filter 13, which is sat on the floor of the ceiling air passage 12, and is exhausted to the entrance space 11.
[25] A flooring material 14 of a metal grating is formed at the floor of the entrance space
I 1, so as to sufficiently endure the load of the automobile 2 and exhaust the air well. [26] The exhaust fan 4 serves to induct the air of the entrance space 11 through a floor exhaust passage 15, which is formed at the floor of the painting booth 1 and exhaust it to an exhaust duct 41.
[27] Also, an exhaust filter 42 is formed at the inside of the exhaust duct 41 in order to filter the external material (a paint dust and so on) contained in the air inducted through the floor exhaust passage 15.
[28] In the painting booth 1 according to the present invention, a plurality of halogen heaters 5a for a ceiling is formed at the ceiling thereof and a plurality of halogen heaters 5b for a wall surface is formed at both side surfaces of the wall in a predetermined distance.
[29] The halogen heaters 5a and 5b for a ceiling and a wall surface include heater bodies
51a and 51b, halogen heaters 52a and 52b for generating a heater and far infrared rays mounted at the each inside of the heater bodies 51a and 51b, reflecting plates 53a and 53b for reflecting the heat and the far infrared rays, which are generated from the halogen heaters 52a and 52b, inside the entrance space 11, fans 54a and 54b for sending the air in such a manner that the heat and the far infrared rays, which are generated from the halogen heaters 52a and 52b, move toward the inside of the entrance space 11, and shading louvers 55a and 55b for allowing the heat and the far infrared rays generated from the halogen heaters 52a and 52b to emit in the straight direction and configured in the formed of a baduk board (Korea checkers) in order that the light generated from the halogen heaters 52a and 52b is not directly flashed in the worker s eye in the slanted direction against the halogen heaters 52a and 52b.
[30] As shown in FIG. 4, in the ceiling halogen heater 5a, the reflecting plates 53a and the fan 54a are formed at the upper side of the halogen heater 52a, in order that the heat and the far infrared rays generated from the halogen heater 52a can be emitted toward the floor of the entrance space.
[31] Also, as shown in FIG. 5, in the wall surface halogen heater 5b, in order to emit the heat and the far infrared rays generated from the halogen heater 52b toward the inside of the entrance space 11, the reflecting plate 53b is located at the back surface, that is, the side of the wall surface, so that the heat and the far infrared rays can be reflected toward the inside of the entrance space 11. In the meantime, the fan 54b is mounted on the lower portion of the inside of the heater body 51b, so that it can send the air upwardly. Here, since the back surface, top surface and both side surfaces of the heater body 51b are blocked, as though the air is sent from the lower portion of the back surface of the reflecting plate 53b toward the upper portion thereof through the fan 54b, the air sent by the fan 54b is passed through the shading louver 55b, which is mounted on the front surface of the heater body 51b, and is sent toward the inside of the entrance space 11.
[32] The process of painting and drying the automobile in the painting booth according to the present invention will be described below.
[33] FIG. 2 shows the painting operation in a state of closing the front and rear doors, after the automobile enters at the entrance space 11 of the painting booth 1 according to the present invention. Here, the painting operation is conducted by a spray manner in a state that the ceiling and wall surface halogen heaters 5a and 5b are not operated, but the air blower 3, the exhaust fan 4 and so on are operated. Accordingly, the exterior air supplied to the ceiling air passage 12 through the induction duct 31 by means of the air blower 3 is sent from the upper portion of the entrance space 11, that is, the ceiling toward the bottom thereof. On the other hand, since the air of the entrance space 11 is already induced by the inhalation power of the exhaust fan 4 in the floor exhaust passage 15, the smell and the minute painting dust, which are generated from the paint during the spray painting operation, are discharged to the outside through the floor exhaust passage 15 and the exhaust duct 41 by means of the forced draft of the air sent from the ceiling of the entrance space 11 to the bottom thereof through the air blower and the inhalation power of the exhaust fan 4.
[34] After the painting operation is completed in the painting booth 1 as described above, the operation of the air blower 3 and the exhaust fan 4 are stopped and the ceiling halogen heater 5a and the wall surface halogen heater 5b are operated.
[35] When the ceiling halogen heater 5a and the wall surface halogen heater 5b are operated, the halogen heaters 52a and 52b mounted on each of heater bodies 51a and 51b generate heat and emit far infrared rays at the same time. At this time, the heat and far infrared rays generated from each of halogen heaters 52a and 52b are reflected by the reflecting plates 53a and 53b and pass through the shading louver 55a and 55b to be emitted in the straight direction toward the automobile 2. That is, the plurality of the ceiling halogen heaters 5a, which is mounted on the ceiling of the entrance space 11 longitudinally and latitudinally, emits the heat and far infrared rays toward the upper portion of the automobile 2, which is directly under the ceiling. Also, the plurality of the wall surface halogen heaters 5b, which is mounted on at both side surfaces of the wall in a line, emits the heat and far infrared rays toward the left and right sides of the automobile 2.
[36] It becomes generally known that the halogen heater emits far infrared rays together with heat itself. Also, the emission heat of the far infrared rays uses a heat propagation manner and the far infrared rays gets to a heating object in a straight line like a light without heating the air so that its efficiency is high, the absorption wavelength of an organism is almost similar to the wavelength of the far infrared rays so that the reflection and transmission of energy is small, the bulk of the far infrared rays are absorbed in the heating objects so that the absorption efficiency of energy is high, and the far infrared rays is transmitted to the inside of the organism and a self-heating is generated by the resonance so that the temperature rise of the heating object is generated (Book; Characteristic and effect of far infrared rays compiled by JI, Cheol- geon)
[37] Accordingly, the heat and far infrared rays generated from each of halogen heaters
52a and 52b of the ceiling halogen heater 5a and the wall surface halogen heater 5b mounted on the inside of the painting booth 1 heat and dry the surface of the paint coated on the body of the automobile 2 as well as are penetrated into the inner surface of the paint to dry it, without heating the inside of the entrance space 11, so that the drying time of the paint coated on the body of the automobile 2 can be shortened.
[38] Also, each fan 54a and 54b can circulate the interior air of the entrance space 11, so that the heating loss can be decreased and the heat and far infrared rays generated from each of halogen heaters 52a and 52b can be easily emitted in the straight direction toward the automobile 2.
