Abstract

The present invention relates to the hollow metal profiles. The hollow profile produced in order to obtain the object of the present invention basically comprises at least one lateral surface having embossment figures on, which are formed before bending the profile from a metal sheet .

Description

Description EMBOSSED METAL PROFILE
[001] Field of Invention
[002] The present invention relates to the hollow metal profiles.
[003] Prior Art
[004] In the art known, hollow metal pipes or profiles are produced in a flat or raised form on their lateral surfaces. When it is desired to use a product embossed on the lateral surface, solid wrought irons are used instead of hollow profiles.
[005] Today such kind of hollow pipes or profiles used for various purposes in many sectors are produced by bending, hence joining the sheet metals together. The said profiles can be produced in many different geometrical shapes and they are important for their functionality as well as for aesthetic appearance.
[006] In the art different solutions have been developed with respect to the profile production methods. JP57028622 discloses one of the common embodiments. The inventive tool includes shaping the sheet metals into profiles by bending and also the production method of profile conjunction points in t-shape.
[007] Another embodiment known in the art is described in CNl 190062. The invention described in the said application includes drawing the embossment figures with acid resistant materials on the profile. After the embossment figures are made, the profile is dried for a period of time in a drying chamber and then left waiting in an acid pool. And the surfaces without acid resistant materials are worn out and differ from the protected areas.
[008] However, profiles known in the art are generally produced without embossment figures on the lateral surfaces. Thus they do not provide the required aesthetic appearance. When it is required to stamp the embossment figure on the profile, deformations are observed thereon and it is not possible to stamp the embossment figures free of damages. With the stamping method it is possible to perforate the embossment figures on the solid wrought iron sheet metal, molding and squares, and when the embossment figures are required to be used, solid wrought iron, molding and squares are generally used. Such kind of pipes increases the weight and production costs of the product and therefore they cause problems in handling.
[009] Brief description of the invention
[010] The object of the invention is to produce a hollow profile comprising embossment figures formed through stamping on lateral surfaces.
[011] The hollow profile produced in order to obtain the object of the present invention basically comprises at least one lateral surface having embossment figures on.
[012] The profiles with embossment figures on the lateral surfaces provide more aesthetical appearance in usage areas. And also with the hollow profile the problems of weight and costs are minimized, handling problems are removed and the consumption of raw material decreases and less labor force is required.
[013] Detailed description of the invention
[014] The profile, the inventive tool, can be produced out of any metal. Profiles bear embossment figures formed during the production on the lateral surfaces. They may include different numbers of lateral surfaces in different embodiments. Embossment figures are formed on the sheet metals preferably through stamping method. Sheet metals take the shape of profiles through bending after embossment figures are stamped on.
[015] Embossment figures on the sheet metals preferably made in a way to form recesses may be of different figures and sizes. And in another embodiment embossment figures may be on at least one lateral surface in raised form. Embossment figures stamped on the sheet metals before being corrugated may be formed on the metal sheets in different figures.
[016] The present invention can be produced in different sheet metal gages and diameters.
Therefore sheet metal rolls in different gage and size are firstly slit in band slitting machine. The embossment figures are stamped on the said sheet metals to be formed in profiles, with steel rollers and moulds which forges and crushes in circular movements.
[017] Embossed sheet metals take the form of profiles of which the cross-section has the required geometrical shape, having lateral surfaces in different number and shapes. Thus a profile comprising lateral surfaces in required number is obtained. During bending not any deformations are observed on sheet metals and embossment figures.
[018] Profile ends can be fixed through welding by bending from edges in a manner to be stitched vertically or can be produced as open profile by leaving an opening without welding or in the form of T,Z,W,L. Open ends can be situated in any place on the profile. The corners of profile closed through welding can be stamped with embossment figures with the help of moulds.
[019] The profiles with embossment figures on the lateral surfaces provide more aesthetical appearance in usage areas. And also with the hollow profile the problems of weight and costs are minimized, handling problems are removed and the consumption of raw material decreases and less labor force is required.
[020] Within the scope of the said main concept it is possible to develop various designs of the present invention and the invention is basically according to the claims and cannot be limited to the examples described herein.
