Abstract

L’invention concerne un appareil de finition autonome pour la finition d’une bande fibreuse fabriquée dans une machine à papier / carton. L’appareil comprend un poste dérouleur (1) et un poste enrouleur (3) entre lesquels est montée une calandre (2). Des bobines de bande fibreuse montées sur le poste dérouleur sont déroulées, traversent la calandre jusqu’au poste enrouleur pour y être enroulées et former de nouvelles bobines traitées. L’appareil comprend un moyen de jointure servant à coller l’extrémité avant d’une nouvelle bobine de bande fibreuse à l’extrémité arrière d’une bobine de bande fibreuse précédente, et un moyen de coupe servant à couper la bobine de bande fibreuse précédente pendant l’opération de jointure. L’appareil de finition autonome fonctionne sensiblement en continu, la jointure d’une nouvelle bobine (10) de bande fibreuse (W2) sur une bobine de bande fibreuse précédente (W1) s’effectuant au vol. La vitesse de passage d’une jointure à travers la calandre et les charges appliquées au niveau des lignes de contact entre rouleaux par lesquelles passe la jointure sont adaptées de façon à ne pas affecter sensiblement la qualité d’une bande fibreuse, sauf éventuellement au niveau de la zone de jointure proprement dite, lors du passage de la jointure à travers la calandre, ce qui permet de minimiser le risque de déchirure. L’invention concerne également un procédé de finition d’une bande fibreuse fabriquée dans une machine à papier / carton.
