Abstract

A cable holder (1) serves for holding at least one cable (23) above ground level. The cable holder (1) comprises a foot part (2) and a head part (3) and a bar member (4) distancing the head part (3) from the foot part (2), so that it is possible to lift the cables (23) above e.g. a doorway (27) during construction work. The head part (3) consists of a cable fastening part (19) and a cable resting part (20) .The cable holder (1) is firstly erected on the building site (25) .Next the cable (23) is guided through the cable resting part (20) and releasable secured to the cable fastening part (19), e.g. using fastening means such as cable straps (24) or cable ties.

Claims
1. A cable holder (1) for holding at least one cable (23) above ground level, said cable holder (1) comprises a - foot part (2) and a head part (3) ,
- a bar member (4) distancing the head part (3) from the foot part (2) , and wherein
- the head part (3) comprises a cable fastening part (19) and a cable resting part (20) , characterized in that, the cable fastening part (19) is a substantially straight rod (19), and the cable resting part (20) is an arc-shaped rod (20) arranged on top of the straight rod (19) .
2. A cable holder (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that,
- the cable fastening part (19) is arranged at a. first angle α substantially transversely to the longitudinal direction of the bar member (4) at the end (22) of the bar member (4) , and - the cable' resting part (20) is arranged substantially transversely to the cable fastening at a second angle β.
3- A cable holder (1) according to claim 2, characterized in that, the first angle α and/or second angle β is between 80° and 100", preferably between 85° and 95°, and most preferred 90°.
4. A cable holder -(1) according to any of the claims 1, 2 or 3, characterized in that, the cable fastening part (19) is arranged crosswise on top of the straight rod (19) .
5. A cable, holder (1) according to any of the preceding claims 1 - 4, characterized in that at least one free end of the cable resting part (20) is provided with an enlarged end part (21a, 21b).
6. A cable holder (1) according to any of the preceding claim 1 - 5 , characterised in that the length of the bar member (4) is adjustable.
7. A cable holder (1) according to any of the preceding claim 1 - 6, characterized in that foot part (29 is collapsible.
3. A cable holder (1) according to any of the preceding claim 1 - 7, characterised in that the foot part (2) has at least three legs (5a, 5b, 5c).
9. A method for lifting a cable (23) above ground level, characterized in that, the method comprises the steps of - erecting the cable holder (1) according to any of the preceding claims 1 - 8,
- guiding a cable (23) through the cable resting part (20),
- and securing the cable (23) releaseably to the cable fastening part (19) .
10. A method according to claim 9, characterized in that, the method further comprises adjusting the height of the, bar member (4) .
