Abstract

Disclosed is a lifesaving device floating on the water in that the cover of the case is simply opened by the user in a case that he is in distress on the water, so that the gas cylinder explodes and the float-up bag is expanded, whereby providing the buoyancy with a user. The lifesaving device floating on the water comprising a case having a receiving space for receiving a float-up bag and a gas cylinder therein and a cover connected by a hinge portion thereto; a float-up bag putted in the receiving space of the case in a folded state and having a gas cylinder receiving portion for receiving the gas cylinder; a percussion tool having an inserting hole for inserting an outlet of the gas cylinder, an arrowhead corresponding to the outlet of the gas cylinder in the inserting hole, and a gas outlet formed at a front side thereof; and a percussion tool operation lever of a plate shape integrally formed at an end portion of the cover and pushing a rear of the gas cylinder during an opening of the cover, whereby the outlet of the gas cylinder and the arrowhead of the percussion tool are contacted with each other to be exploded.

Description
LIFESAVING DEVICE FLOATING ON WATER
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a lifesaving device floating on the water, and more particularly to a lifesaving device floating on the water in that the cover of the case is simply opened by the user in a case that he is in distress on the water, so that the gas cylinder explodes and the float-up bag is expanded, whereby providing the buoyancy with a user.

Background Art
[3] Generally, an air tube, a life jacket and so on as a safety device on the water is mainly used. In these days, there has been proposed that it is usually worn on a belt and is operated by the user to be expanded in case of emergency on the water, thereby preventing a safety accident on the water.
[4] However, in case of the air tube, it is used in a non-wear status, thereby lowering the reliability in terms of safety. Also, in case of the life jacket, the user shirks its wear itself or never wear it on account the unnatural movement. Accordingly, the safety accident on the water in summer, especially the safety accident of a child becomes more critical.
[5] Also, in case of the belt type safety device, since its buoyancy acts on the waist of the user, it is difficulty to balance the user's body as well as it is impossible to actually operate it under an urgent situation, thereby it cannot provide the actual safety effects. Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem
[6] Accordingly, the present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems occurring in the prior art, and an object of the present invention is to provide a lifesaving device floating on the water capable of preventing a drowning accident, operating simply under an urgent situation, and fixing simply to the various parts of the user's body Technical Solution
[7] To accomplish the object, the present invention provides alifesaving device floating on the water compring a case having a receiving space for receiving a float-up bag and a gas cylinder therein and a cover connected by a hinge portion thereto; a float-up bag putted in the receiving space of the case in a folded state and having a gas cylinder receiving portion for receiving the gas cylinder; a percussion tool having an inserting hole for inserting an outlet of the gas cylinder, an arrowhead corresponding to the outlet of the gas cylinder in the inserting hole, and a gas outlet formed at a front side thereof; and a percussion tool operation lever of a plate shape integrally formed at an end portion of the cover and pushing a rear of the gas cylinder during an opening of the cover, whereby the outlet of the gas cylinder and the arrowhead of the percussion tool are contacted with each other to be exploded. [8] Preferably, the gas cylinder and the inserting hole of the percussion tool are at least two pieces respectively. [9] Preferably, a circumference of the gas cylinder and the percussion tool of the gas cylinder receiving portion is sealed by means of a heat fusion and then, is covered with at least double vinyl by means of a high-frequency welding. [10] Preferably, the float-up bag further comprises a body divided by a plurality of partition walls open to each other.
[11] Preferably, the float-up bag is treated with an embossing process.

Advantageous Effects [14] In the lifesaving device floating on the water, there is an effect in that the cover of the case is simply opened by the user in a case that he is in distress on the water, so that the gas cylinder explodes and the float-up bag is expanded, thereby it can prevent a drowning accident as well as it can be simply operated under an urgent situation. [15] Also, there is another effect in that adhesive bands are formed at both end portions of the case, so that they can be simply fixed to the various parts of the body such as arm and leg and so on of the user. Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[23] A preferred embodiment of the invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[24] FlG. 1 is a developed perspective view illustrating a float-up bag having a gas cylinder contained in a case of a lifesaving device floating on the water according to the present invention and FlG. 2 is a perspective view illustrating a percussion tool for inserting the gas cylinder therein according to the present invention.
[25] Here, as shown in FlG. 1, the gas is not injected into the float-up bag 10, before the float-up bag 10 is completely contained in a case 40 (note FlG. 3). The float-up bag 10 includes a body 12 divided by a plurality of partition walls open to each other and a gas cylinder receiving portion 11 for receiving the gas cylinders 20.
[26] The material of the float-up bag 10 may be a well-known synthetic resin sheet or a transparent vinyl and so on, such as a PVC, a polyurethane or its equivalents. Also, it may be a waterproof fabric of a well-known nylon oxford material. [29] In the drawings, two gas cylinders 20 are formed in the percussion tool 30 of the gas cylinder receiving portion 11. However, the number of the gas cylinder 20 may be a single or more than three and the present invention is limited to any number of the gas cylinder 20.
[30] As shown in FlG. 2, the percussion tool 30, in which the gas cylinders 20 are inserted, includes a plurality of inserting holes 31 for inserting outlets 21 of the gas cylinders 20, a plurality of arrowheads 32 corresponding to the outlets 21 of gas cylinders 20 in each inserting hole 31, and a gas outlet 33 formed at the front side thereof. [31] A carbon dioxide having a pressure of about 10kg/mm is filled in the gas cylinder
20 about 5-6 liters. However, the present invention is not limited to the kind, pressure and filling amount of the gas and they can be changed according to the circumstances.
[32] Also, as described in herein below, when the gas cylinder 20 explodes, the front side of the gas outlet 33, which is the gas discharge path, is not sealed by the heat fusion or the high-frequency welding, so that the discharge gas is rapidly expanded in the inside of the float-up bag 10.

[34] As shown in FlG. 3 and FlG. 4, the case 40 according to the present invention includes a cover 41 connected by a hinge portion thereto and covering the upper portion thereof, a receiving space 42 for receiving the float-up bag 10 and the gas cylinder 20, and a percussion tool operation lever 45 of a plate shape integrally formed at the end portion of the cover 41 and pushing the rear of the gas cylinder 20 during the opening of the cover 41, thereby the outlets 21 of the gas cylinders 20 and the arrowheads 32 of the percussion tool 30 are contacted with each other to be exploded.
[35] Here, the percussion tool operation lever 45 of a plate shape faces the lower direction during the closing of the cover 41. In the meantime, when the cover 41 is completely opened, the percussion tool operation lever 45 pushes the rear of the gas cylinder 20 and the outlets 21 of the gas cylinders 20 move toward the arrowheads 32 of the percussion tool 30 respectively. After all, the arrowheads 32 of the percussion tool 30 are contacted with the sealed outlets 21 respectively to be exploded, so that the gas can be expanded in the inside of the float-up bag 10.
[36] Also, guide protrusions (not shown) are formed at predetermined regions of the both sides of the case 40 and slightly protruded toward the inside thereof, so that it can prevent the gas cylinder 20 from lifting on account of the impact during the explosion of the gas cylinder 20.
[37] The reference numerals 43 and 44 denote a fixing protrusion and a fixing groove for fixing the cover 41 to the case 40 respectively. [38] The operating method of the lifesaving device floating on the water having the above structure will be described in detail below with reference to FlG. 1 through FlG. 4.
[39] Firstly, the percussion tool 30 having the plurality of gas cylinders 20 therein is putted in the gas cylinder receiving portion 11 formed at one side of the unfolded float- up bag 10.
[40] Continuously, the circumference (sealed line 14) of the gas cylinder 20 and the percussion tool 30 of the gas cylinder receiving portion 11 is sealed by means of the heat fusion and, then covered with at least double vinyl 15 and 16 by means of the high-frequency welding.
[41] Subsequently, the float-up bag 10 having the gas cylinder 20 is folded up and pu tted in the inside of the case 40. Here, the gas cylinder receiving portion 11 having the gas cylinder 20 and percussion tool 30 of the float-up bag 10 is located at the lowest portion of the case 40. That is, the lowest portion of the case 40 assumes the form corresponding the shape of the gas cylinder 20 and percussion tool 30 in order that the gas cylinders 20 and percussion tool 30 are safely placed thereon.
[42] Successively, the remaining portion of the float-up bag 10 is fold over and over again and putted in the upper portion thereof, which is located over the lowest portion of the case 40. Thereafter, the cover 41 is fixed to the case 40 by means of the fixing protrusion 43 and the fixing groove 44, so that the float-up bag 10 having the gas cylinders 20 is completely sealed and putted in the case 40 to complete the lifesaving device floating on the water according to the present invention. Here, the adhesive bands 47 and 48, which are made of the Velcro, are attached on both end portions of the case 40.
[43] Actually, the lifesaving device floating on the water according to the present invention is fixed to the arm and leg of the user through the adhesive bands 47 and 48. In a case that the user is in distress on the water, if the user completely opens the cover 41 of the case 40, the percussion tool operation lever 45 pushes the rear of the gas cylinder 20 and the arrowheads 32 of the percussion tool 30 are perforated into the sealed outlets 21 of the gas cylinders 20, so that the high-pressure gas is spouted and expanded in the inside of the float-up bag 10 to provide the buoyancy with the user.
[44] While this invention has been described in connection with what are presently considered to be the most practical and preferred embodiments, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiments and the drawings, but, on the contrary, it is intended to cover various modifications and variations within the spirit and scope of the appended claims. [45] The present invention relates to a lifesaving device floating on the water, and more particularly to a lifesaving device floating on the water in that the cover of the case is simply opened by the user in a case that he is in distress on the water, so that the gas cylinder explodes and the float-up bag is expanded, whereby providing the buoyancy with a user. Claims
[1] A lifesaving device floating on the water comprising: a case having a receiving space for receiving a float-up bag and a gas cylinder therein and a cover connected by a hinge portion thereto; a float-up bag putted in the receiving space of the case in a folded state and having a gas cylinder receiving portion for receiving the gas cylinder; a percussion tool having an inserting hole for inserting an outlet of the gas cylinder, an arrowhead corresponding to the outlet of the gas cylinder in the inserting hole, and a gas outlet formed at a front side thereof; and a percussion tool operation lever of a plate shape integrally formed at an end portion of the cover and pushing a rear of the gas cylinder during an opening of the cover, whereby the outlet of the gas cylinder and the arrowhead of the percussion tool are contacted with each other to be exploded.
[2] A lifesaving device floating on the water as claimed in claim 1, wherein the gas cylinder and the inserting hole of the percussion tool corresponding to the gas cylinder are at least two pieces respectively.
[3] A lifesaving device floating on the water as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2, wherein a circumference of the gas cylinder and the percussion tool of the gas cylinder receiving portion is sealed by means of a heat fusion and then, is covered with at least double vinyl by means of a high-frequency welding.
[4] A lifesaving device floating on the water as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2, wherein the float-up bag further comprises a body divided by a plurality of partition walls open to each other.
[5] A lifesaving device floating on the water as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2, wherein the float-up bag is treated with an embossing process.
[6] A lifesaving device floating on the water as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2, wherein adhesive bands are formed at both end portions of the case.
