Abstract

Es wird ein Verfahren zur Steuerung eines Datentransports zwischen einem Mobilfunkgerät (M) und Basisstationen (BS1, BS2) in einem zellularen Netz (N) beschrieben, bei dem zumindest zeitweise gleichzeitig über mehrere Basisstationen (BS1, BS2) eine Funkverbindung zwischen dem Mobilfunkgerät (M) und dem Netz (N) besteht. Dabei werden von einer der Basisstationen (BS1) an das Mobilfunkgerät (M) Transportformatvorgabesignale (TS) gesendet, um dem Mobilfunkgerät (M) die von der Basisstation (BS1) für eine Übermittlung von Daten (UD) vom Mobilfunkgerät (M) an die betreffende Basisstation (BS1) gewünschten Transportformate zu signalisieren. Außerdem wird ermittelt, ob die Basisstation (BS1), welche die Transportformatvorgabesignale (TS) an das Mobilfunkgerät (M) sendet, unter allen Basisstationen (BS1, BS2), über die das Mobilfunkgerät (M) eine Funkverbindung zum Netz (N) aufrecht erhält, diejenige Basisstation ist, zu der gemäß einem vorgegebenen Bewertungskriterium die aktuell beste Verbindung zur Übertragung von Daten von dem Mobilfunkgerät (M) zum Netz (N) besteht. Bei der Bestimmung eines Transportformats, welches das Mobilfunkgerät (M) bei der Übermittlung von Daten (UD) an die Basisstationen (BS1, BS2) verwendet, wird dann das Transportformatvorgabesignal (TS) in Abhängigkeit von dem Ermittlungsergebnis berücksichtigt. Darüber hinaus werden ein Mobilfunkgerät (M) und eine Basisstation (BS1, BS2) beschrieben, welche jeweils so ausgebildet sind, dass hiermit das betreffende Verfahren durchführbar ist.
