図 2は、図 1の Π— II線矢視図であって、被覆シート片 31は一部分が破断して示さ れている。側部域 10において被覆シート片 31は、胴周り開口 11の縁 32と脚周り開 口 12の縁 33とにほぼ達するように上下方向 Yへ延びていて、図においてドット状に 示されている複数の接合部 34において前胴周り域 6と後胴周り域 7との内面シート 2 に接合している。前後胴周り域 6, 7は、おむつ 1を着用しているときに溶着部 13にお V、て分離することがな 、ように強固に接合した状態にある。そのような溶着部 13は、 元々は柔軟で肌触りのよい内面シート 2と外面シート 3とが溶融した後に塊状となった もので、一般的に硬く肌触りの悪い部位である。それゆえ、おむつ 1に被覆シート片 3 1が設けられて ヽな 、場合には、おむつ 1が着用されて月同周り方向にお 、て緊張状 態なると、溶着部 13は、その周縁の一部分がおむつ 1の内側に現れて、おむつ着用 者の肌を刺激することがある。しかし、この発明に係るおむつ 1では、前後胴周り域 6 , 7の間をまたぐ被覆シート片 31がそのようにして現れる溶着部 13の周縁を隠蔽して いるので、肌に対する溶着部 13の刺激を防ぐことができる。すなわち、被覆シート片 31は、おむつ 1の内側にあって、前後胴周り域 6, 7を連結している溶着部 13が、お むつ 1を着用したときにおむつ 1の内側力 着用者の肌に触れて、その肌に刺激を 与えることを防いでいる。
力かるおむつ 1において、内面シート 2は、透液性のものであって、熱可塑性合成 繊維カゝらなる坪量 10〜50gZm2の不織布や熱可塑性合成樹脂からなる厚さ 10〜3 0ミクロンの開口フィルム等の熱可塑性シート材料が使用される。外面シート 3は、不 透液性のものであって、熱可塑性合成繊維力もなる坪量 100〜300gZm2の不織布 や熱可塑性合成樹脂からなる厚さ 10〜50ミクロンのフィルム、力かるフィルムとその 外面を布様の肌触りに変えることができる適宜の坪量を有する不織布とを積層してな る複合シート等が使用される。コア 4は、粉砕パルプまたは粉砕パルプと高吸水性ポ リマー粒子との混合物をティシューぺーパの如き透液性と液拡散性とにすぐれたシ ート材料で被覆したものが使用される。前後胴周り域 6, 7の側縁部 8, 9においては、 これら両側縁部 8, 9を合掌状に重ね合わせて加熱下でエンボス処理を施したり超音 波溶接機による処理を施したりすることによって、両側縁部 8, 9における内面シート 2 どうしゃ内面シート 2と外面シート 3とが溶着して、溶着部 13が形成される。被覆シー ト片 31は柔軟な肌触りを有するものであって、力かる被覆シート片 31には、繊度が 0 . l〜5dtxの熱可塑性合成繊維からなる坪量 10〜50gZm2の不織布、より好ましく は捲縮した熱可塑性合成繊維力もなる坪量 10〜50gZm2の不織布や、厚さ 10〜3 0ミクロンの熱可塑性合成樹脂からなるフィルム、より好ましくはそのようなフィルムで あって肌に対する密着を防ぐのに効果的な微細な凹凸と通気性の開孔とを有するも の等が使用される。被覆シート片 31を接合部 34において内面シート 2に接合する手 段には、ホットメルト接着剤等を使用する接着や被覆シート片 31および Zまたは内面 シート 2を溶融した後に硬化させて被覆シート片 31と内面シート 2とを一体ィ匕させる溶 着等の手段がある。ただし、この発明では、被覆シート片 31が溶着部 13による肌に 対しての刺激を防ぐことができると同時に、被覆シート片 31の接合部 34による肌に対 しての刺激を避けなければならない。そのための接合部 34は、図示例の如くドット状 のものである場合には、直径が 2mmよりも小さぐドットどうしが 5mm以上離間してい ることが好ましい。ただし、接合部 34には、ドット状のものに代えて、ストライプ状のも のを使用することもできる。ストライプ状の接合部 34は、幅が lmmよりも小さくて、互 いに 10mm以上離間していることが好ましい。ストライプ状の接合部 34は、複数条の ものが互いに平行して上下方向 Yへ延びるものであってもよいし胴周り方向へ延びる ものであってもよいが、上下方向 Yへ延びるものである場合には、胴周り方向へ延び るものである場合に比べて、前胴周り域 6や後胴周り域 7の胴周り方向における伸長 、収縮を妨げることが少ないという利点がある。接着や溶着によって接合部 34を形成 することに代えて、内面シート 2が不織布カゝらなる場合には、フック部材とループ部材 とからなるメカ-カルファスナのフック部材を使用して被覆シート片 31を内面シート 2 に接合することもできる。この場合の内面シート 2はループ部材として作用する。さら には、被覆シート片 31と内面シート 2とが共に不織布で形成されている場合には、両 者の繊維を互いに交絡させることによつても被覆シート片 31を内面シート 2に接合す ることができる。ニードルパンチ法によってフェルトを製造するときのように-一ドルを 被覆シート片 31と内面シート 2とに貫通させて両者の繊維を互いに力もませることに よって接合部 34を形成するならば、接着や溶着によって接合部 34を形成する場合 に比べて、おむつ 1の側部域 10の柔軟性を低下させることがない。
使い捨てのパンツ型おむつ 1を例にとって説明したこの発明は、使い捨てのパンツ や使い捨てのトレーニングパンツ、吸尿用パッドや生理用ナプキンを着用するために 使用する使い捨てのパンツ型着用物品として実施することができる。また、この発明 において、前胴周り域 6と後胴周り域 7とは、それらの側縁部 8と 9とを図示例の如く合 掌状に重ね合わせて溶着することに代えて、側縁部 8の内面が側縁部 9の外面と向 力 、合うように、またはそれとは反対に側縁部 8の外面が側縁部 9の内面と向力 ヽ合 うように側縁部 8と 9とを重ね合わせて溶着することもできる。さらにはまた、この発明 において、胴周り側部域 10は、内面シート 2と外面シート 3とを重ね合わせることによ つて形成することに代えて、胴周り方向において外面シート 3を内面シート 2よりも長く して、その長くした外面シート 3で形成することもできる。また、内面シート 2や外面シ ート 3とは別体のシート片を内面シート 2および Zまたは外面シート 3に胴周り方向へ 延びるように取り付けて、その別体のシート片によって側部域 10を形成することもでき る。被覆シート片 31は、胴周り側部域 10をこのようにして形成している場合の外面シ ート 3の内面や別体のシート片の内面に対して接合することができる。
産業上の利用可能性
この発明によれば、前後胴周り域の側縁部どうしが溶着部において一体ィ匕している パンツ型着用物品であって、その溶着部によって肌を刺激することのないものの製造 が可能になる。

Claims

請求の範囲
[1] 前胴周り域；
後胴周り域；
股下域；
を含む使い捨てのパンツ型着用物品であって、
前記前後胴周り域が、それぞれ前記横方向で対向する一対の側縁部を有し、 前記前後胴周り域が、前記側縁部で互いに重なり合い、前記側縁部に含まれる熱 可塑性合成樹脂で形成された溶着部において一体化し、胴周り開口と一対の脚周り 開口と前記横方向において対向する胴周り側部域とが形成されており、
前記胴周り側部域のそれぞれでは、被覆シート片が、前記前後胴周り域間をまたぐ ように前記前後胴周り域の前記着用物品着用者の肌に対する当接面に取り付けられ ていることを特徴とする前記着用物品。
[2] 前記被覆シート片が、前記胴周り側部域において前記胴周り開口と前記脚周り開 口との間に延びて 、る請求項 1記載の着用物品。
[3] 前記被覆シート片が、接着、溶着、および前記前後胴周り域と前記被覆シート片と に含まれる繊維どうしの交絡の少なくともいずれかひとつの手段によって、前記前後 胴周り域それぞれに対して接合している請求項 1または 2記載の着用物品。
