Abstract

Le domaine de l'invention est principalement celui des boîtes à lumière utilisées pour l'éclairage des écrans de visualisation et d'affichage à valve optique, notamment pour les écrans matriciels à cristaux liquides encore appelés LCD. Les sources de lumière utilisées sont généralement des tubes fluorescents alimentés en haute tension par des dispositifs comprenant des oscillateurs électroniques de Royer. Ces oscillateurs électroniques ne permettent pas d'atteindre facilement de grandes dynamiques de luminance, qui peut nécessaire pour certaines applications. L'oscillateur selon l'invention comporte un dispositif électronique de décharge de l'énergie électrique stockée, ledit dispositif de décharge étant commandé par un dispositif électronique de commande par modulation par découpage, permettant ainsi d'atteindre de grandes dynamiques de luminance. Plusieurs modes de réalisation sont proposés.
