Abstract

This invention relates to liquid crystal display (LCD) equipment and its backlight device. The backlight device 12 is built at the back of a liquid crystal panel 11 in a LCD 10. It comprises a casing, at least a light source, a net, and an optical sheet component. The casing (lamp shell ) 13 possesses an opening portion 16. The light source 19 is contained in the casing 13. The net 20 covers the opening portion 16. The optical sheet component 21 is allocated upon the net 20.
