Abstract
The invention relates to a fishing tackle and net hauling reel. Haulers are used to cast or raise nets in a fishing vessel. The motorised pulleys or reels of said haulers comprise a metallic body that is coated with an elastomer or rubber material which is in contact with the net and which, upon rotation of the reel, hauls said net. The abrasion of the nets against the rubber coating causes wear to said coating such that it needs to be changed. According to the invention, the reel of the hauler is completely metallic and does not require a rubber coating since it operates perfectly and fulfils its function without causing wear, breakages or snags owing to the fact that the metallic surface thereof is equipped with radially-disposed blades (4) on each of the half-pulleys, such that at least two floats can be provided between each two consecutive blades. The pulley penetration angle is approximately 45°.
Description
The present invention, as stated in the description of this specification, refers to a fishing net and fishing tackle reel, the reel or pulley being motorized and mounted on a suspended support of the fishing boat crane, presenting this reel relevant and advantageous features compared to those used for the same purpose and which can be considered of its kind.
ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓNBACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The use of hackers to start or climb the nets on a fishing boat is known. The drum or pulley that performs this operation and which is in the form of a yo-yo, is made up of a metal body covered with a rubber material that, in contact with the net, allows, as the reel turns, the drag of both the net and the cockpit with the floats.
Obviously, with the current system of gummed reels, the abrasion of the nets against the rubber causes wear of said coating, in such a way that it forces to change it. This wear was normally maintained until the metal part of the reel appeared and forced to change the drum or reel. To the extent that the hackers were manufactured of greater power, it has been having to increase the size of the reels, so the change of these reels at sea due to the wear of the rubber coating, has been the cause of many accidents Being a very heavy element and of considerable volume.
redes produciéndose roturas .In addition, the abrasion between the gummed and the nets, also caused the wear and aging of the nets, since the landslides are inevitable. Also due to these landslides, when the cork cockpit is pulled out more than the chain, the networks causing breakage.
In general, the angle of the yo-yo-shaped side walls of the reel is 50 ° to 65 °, preferably between 57 ° and 58 ° and always having the metal body and the rubber coating, an angle that is sufficient to carry out the network drag.
The design and construction of pulling reels has been attempted without the use of rubber coatings, the solutions have not been satisfactory given the angle of penetration of the side walls of the pulling body, of the order of 50 to 60 ° as we have indicated previously.
In the Utility Model 200301142 and as a solution to the pulley maintenance problem, it is constituted by a metal structure that presents pockets or recesses as areas of location and settlement of removable plugs that allow the repair of the pulley without it being it is necessary to disassemble it, since it is enough to replace the damaged studs. These studs are individually attached and consist of a metal plate coated with the elastomer with anti-abrasive characteristics.
In this case the rubber is still spent even faster than when the reel is gummed in its entirety. In practice, this system recommended in the aforementioned utility model, has been abandoned by the shipowners, given that the total gumming of the reel has a longer duration than the reels with studs of those indicated in said model. In total gumming systems or in the system that uses rubberized cues, the nets slide when pulled by spending the gumming and the same nets to a greater or lesser degree, which consequently is taken care of, delaying the pull of the cork cockpit with respect to the cloths and sometimes delaying the pulling of the chain, causing tensions in the networks that end up breaking.
OF THE INVENTION In general, the fishing net and fishing tackle reel, object of the present invention, has characteristics that perfectly solve the problems indicated above, being defined by a totally metallic body with its inclined walls to form a penetration angle of approximately 45 ° . In addition, the surface of the reel or pulley is provided with pallets in correspondence with its generatrices, which are evenly distributed angularly and so that those that are in one of the pulley halves are centrally offset with respect to the two consecutive on the opposite side.
The metal vanes have a general truncated pyramid shape of lateral walls defined by radial planes and with the free surface in ascending ramp, being of notable greater height in the radially furthest area of the pulley. The edge corresponding to the free vertex of the trapecial shape of the sides of the paddle, is very rounded to facilitate the entry of the net and other fishing tackle. The number of vanes is calculated in such a way that a space between pallets is created, in the area radially furthest from the axis, in which at least between a set of two floats, so that in their movement the cockpit is pulled with the floats , entering the network in parallel without neglecting, thereby avoiding So breaks.
Between pallets, in the lower area or near the neck of the pulley, the size of the chain mesh is considered, so that they work as a slip, avoiding run-off.
With this arrangement it is achieved that both the net, the chain, and the floats are pulled in parallel, the net being held on the reel by the angle of 45 ° formed between the trapezoidal pieces without any difficulty.
In this way, the expense produced by gumming is eliminated, disassembly is avoided and abrasion of the networks is also avoided by abrasion, these being faster and gaining time and consequently the performance is improved.
To facilitate the understanding of the features of the invention and forming an integral part of this specification, some sheets of drawings are attached in whose figures, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following has been represented:

Este carrete está referenciado en general con el número 5 y su geometría se observa en la figura 2.DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT With reference to the numbering adopted in the figures and specifically in relation to Figure 1 which shows a conventional hauler, it has a support frame 1 and a reel 2 or metal pulley covered with rubber or elastomer 3. Reel 2 is driven by a motor not shown, to pull the nets and other fishing tackle. In accordance with the invention and as shown in Figure 2, the gumming 3 of the reel is suppressed, making it totally metallic and without abrasive coating. Instead of its surface being smooth, it has a plurality of vanes 4 on both halves of the pulley or reel. This reel is generally referenced with the number 5 and its geometry is seen in Figure 2.
The vanes 4 are metallic, as are the two half-bodies of the pulley and have the aforementioned radial arrangement, being regularly distributed on the surface of each half-pulley, in an angular sense, but those of one part relative to those of the other, out of phase. half step
According to the invention, the penetration angle of the pulley is approximately 45 ° .
Preferentemente el cuerpo de la polea o carrete 5 y de las paletas 4 es de acero inoxidable, por lo que no se produce ningún deterioro de las redes .Preferably the body of the pulley or reel 5 and of the vanes 4 is made of stainless steel, so that there is no deterioration of the nets.
The geometric shape of these vanes, as clearly seen in this figure 2, is truncated pyramid or wedge and is defined by two lateral surfaces 6, trapezoidal and an upper 7 in ramp, the free outer edge being very rounded. The paddles 4 start from the neck 8 where they start at low height, increasing it towards the outside. The distance between two consecutive paddles 4 is calculated so that at least two floats enter so that the sling is floated with the floats and the net between them perfectly, with no hooks or breaks taking place, nor does the spool deteriorate, working The hauler correctly.
