Abstract
La présente invention concerne une amélioration apportée à un système passif de protection des occupants destiné à protéger tous les occupants d'un véhicule, comprenant des barres coulissantes, un commutateur et un cylindre. Les barres coulissantes sont disposées dans le sens de la longueur, le long de l'habitacle et du coffre du véhicule. Lors d'une collision frontale, l'impact active le commutateur qui, à son tour, actionne le cylindre. Le cylindre, lorsqu'il est actionné, pousse les barres coulissantes vers l'arrière, avec les sièges et le coffre, ce qui permet d'écarter les occupants de la zone de danger.
