Abstract

The invention relates to a self-supporting dispenser and packaging/display unit which can be used to transport a product contained therein from the manufacturer to the point of sale. The inventive self-supporting packaging is characterised in that it can be used to house and display the product which can then be removed therefrom at the moment of purchase by the end customer. The invention is further characterised in that it comprises: angular posts which form a preferably-square or rectangular configuration; and a plurality of angular crossbars, the ends of which are connected to the posts using different fixing means, such as to generate a plurality of peripheral supports which are disposed at the same level and at multiple heights and which are separated by a given distance. According to the invention, panels that are used to house and display the different products are placed on top of, or fixed using different means to, the angular crossbars that form the peripheral supports.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention falls within the field of the packaging industry, in particular it refers to a package for the containment and display of products at points of sale, destined for the final consumer. More specifically, it refers to a self-sustaining packaging-display and dispenser that allows the product contained to be transported from the manufacturer to the points of sale; said self-sustainable packaging has the peculiarity of containing and displaying the product at the points of sale, and from where the final consumer can take it at the time of acquisition.

OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION

The present invention has as its main objective, to make available a self-sustaining packaging-display, which allows the vertical grouping of trays on multiple levels where various products are available and contained for shipment and display, and that allows the product disposition of the multiple levels and in any of their faces.

Another objective of the invention is to make available a self-sustaining display package, which is also structurally functional, resistant and durable.

A further objective of the invention is to allow a self-sustaining packaging-display, which also allows the complete display of the product from any angle and in all levels.

Still another objective of the invention is to allow said self-sustaining packaging-display, which also makes the product contained and displayed in the points of sale of self-service stores highly attractive, for final consumers.

Still another objective of the invention is to make said self-sustainable packaging-display available, which also comprises a unique and solid structure.

Still another objective of the invention is to make said self-sustainable packaging-display available, which also avoids and eliminates the assembly of the display in stores and avoids the accommodation of the product for display.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In general, the basic structure of the self-sustaining packaging-display, in accordance with the present invention, it consists of angular posts (corners) that generate a preferably quadrangular or rectangular configuration, although they can be polygonal; a plurality of angular crossbars are joined at their ends by means of various fixing means in said corner corner posts and generating said angular crossbars perimeter supports with the same level at multiple heights, with some separation, where product containment and display panels can be arranged several, which overlap or are fixed with various fixing means on said angular cross members that generate the perimeter supports, allowing in the first case the sliding of the panels.

Said angular posts and crossbars are preferably made of compressed cardboard, taking advantage of the structural, functional, resistance, cost and recycling characteristics.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Claims

CLAIMS Having described the invention sufficiently, it is claimed as property contained in the following clauses.

1.-Self-sustaining packing-display characterized by conforming to posts and a plurality of lower, upper and intermediate angular crossbars, in the form of "L", joined together generating a preferably quadrangular or rectangular configuration; said crossbars being attached at their ends to said posts with different fixing means, generating a plurality of perimeter supports at the same level, where each perimeter support has a separation distance (height) with respect to the attached perimeter support; each perimeter support receives containment and display panels of various products, which are superimposed or fixed with various means on said angular crossings that generate said perimeter supports.

8, - Self-sustaining packaging-display, in accordance with clauses 4 and 7, characterized in that the product containment and display panels are out of phase from the center of the packaging, being exposed up to half or beyond half on opposite or attached faces (lateral, anterior and posterior) of the quadrangular or rectangular display, fixed with fixing means on the horizontal arms of the corresponding angular crossbars that support them.

9, - Self-sustaining packing-display, in accordance with clause 8, characterized in that the exposed corners of the plurality of panels that protrude from the corresponding face of the square or rectangular shaped packing, comprise an additional angular post with additional angular crossbars fixed with either a horizontal arm superior or inferior to the vertical arm of attachment to the corresponding arm of said additional angular post, to provide greater support to the projecting sections of said product containment panels.
