Abstract

The invention relates to a preparation for the sustained in-vivo release of an active ingredient, comprising microparticles of an insoluble polymer salt, dispersed in a liquid medium and having functional groups forming an ionic bond with the active ingredient and the use thereof as a medicament. In a preferred embodiment, the microparticles are encapsulated by coacervation in aqueous medium. The invention further relates to a method for production of said preparation.
