Abstract

Eine rekuperative Luftspeicheranlage umfasst eine Gasturbogruppe (11) und einen Wärmetauscher (42). Im Wärmetauscher kann Abgaswärme der Gasturbogruppe auf ein gespanntes Speicherfluid übertragen werden, welches von einem Speichervolumen (30) zu einer Entspannungsmaschine (21) strömt. Im Abgasweg der Gasturbogruppe ist stromauf des Wärmetauschers ein Strömungsverzweiger (41) mit einer in mehreren Stellungen betreibbaren Abgasklappe angeordnet. Diese ermöglicht es, den Abgasmassenstrom (m0) der Gasturbogruppe variabel auf einen Kamin (43) und den Wärmetauscher (42) aufzuteilen. Auf diese Weise kann die Gasturbogruppe unabhängig vom Wärmetauscher und der Entspannungsmaschine schnell mit hoher Leistung im Elektrizitätsnetz betrieben werden, während die thermische Belastung des Luftspeicherteils durch eine stufenweise Erhöhung des Abgasanteils (m1), der zum Wärmetauscher strömt, langsam erhöht wird.
