Description

Description
THE HOT WATER PRE HEATING SYSTEM USING A HEATING CIRCULATION SYSTEM
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a hot water preheating system using a heating circulation system, and an improved hot water preheating system in which a low temperature supply water in a hot water pipe of a hot water supply system maintains a certain temperature so that one of heating pipes of a heating circulation system is adapted as a preheating pipe which heat-exchanges with a hot water supply line, and a supply water in a hot water pipe maintains a certain temperature so that one end of a heat pipe is heated directly or indirectly using a heat source of a heating circulation system or a hot water supply system, and an absorbed heat energy is radiated from the other end of the heat pipe.
[2]
Background Art
[3] Generally, a heating circulation system and a hot water supply system have been adapted so as to perform a heating and hot water supply of a building. Here, the heating circulation system is classified into a convection heating method using a pan coil type radiator, and a heating method which uses a heat conduction and heat convection of a Korean traditional heating method in which a heating pipe is buried at a place to be heated. In addition, the hot water supply system is provided with an additional pipe system so as to supply hot water to a certain place for drinking, shower, etc. with the pipe system being different from the heating circulation system.
[4] Here, the heating circulation system has a self-circulation system in which circulation water circulates again through a place where needs the hot water. Namely, since the circulation water adapted for heating is not discharged to the outside or consumed. Namely, it is adapted as a heat transfer medium, so that there is provided a self-circulation system. However, in the hot water supply system, the user needs a discharge of hot water, the hot water supply line is not provided with a circulation system.
[5] As a result, in the case that hot water is not used, a certain area, in which the got water stays, occurs. In the above hot water staying area, the temperature of the hot water decreases due to a radiating phenomenon of pipe. With this problem, water lower than the needed temperature is supplied at the initial time period, so that the user should just discharge low temperature water until desired hot water is outputted. As a result, water resource is over consumed. In addition, foul water increases, and foul water treatment cost increases.
[6] So as to overcome the above-described problems, there is provided the Korean utility model registration No. 20-0313516 "Hot water supply apparatus for home boiler". In the above conventional art, the cooled hot water stayed at the hot water line is re-circulated using a cold water line. The hot water can be quickly supplied by re- operating the boiler. However, in the above conventional art, it is needed to ad¬ ditionally provide a line for re-circulating water, and the heat efficiency decreases since the boiler is operated so as to quickly supply hot water. Since various sensors are installed, the construction of lines is so complicated, and the hot water supply time may be delayed.
[7] Therefore, a new structure for quickly supplying hot water has been intensively conducted in a corresponding technical field.
[8]
Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem
[9] In the conventional art, when the case that hot water is not used, a certain area, in which the got water stays, occurs. In addi
[10]
Technical Solution
[11] Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a hot water preheating system which overcomes the problems encountered in the conventional art.
[12] It is another object of the present invention to provide a hot water preheating system which is capable of saving water resource and decreasing a foul water treatment cost so that water cooled at a hot water staying area is not discarded for thereby quickly supplying hot water using a preheating pipe or a heat pipe of a heating circulation system.
[13] It is further another object of the present invention to provide a hot water preheating apparatus which is capable of decreasing time delayed until a hot water is supplied, and saving energy and preventing a winter-breaking phenomenon of pipe when hot water is not used in the winter season.
[14]
Advantageous Effects
[15] As described above, a preheating pipe is installed at a heating circulation line. The preheating pipe is arranged so that it can exchange heat with the hot water pipe of the hot water supply line. The stayed hot water is controlled to maintain a certain temperature. With the above construction and operation, the decrease of the temperature of the initial hot water is prevented. The water of low temperature is not discarded but used again resulting in saving water. As a result, the foul water decreases, and the foul water treatment cost decreases. [16] In addition, the user can quickly use hot water so that the initial hot water maintains a certain temperature. Providing a preheating pipe connected with the heating line as compared to the conventional art in which a boiler is additionally provided can save energy. [17] In addition, it is possible to prevent the pipe from being broken due to the freezing of the temperature in the winter season. [18]

[37] The circulation water heated by the heat source 10 reaches a supply header 14 through a first line 12 and is distributed to each element. The supply header 14 divides the circulation water into each heating pipe 18. The supply header 14 includes valves 16a, 16b and 16c which intermittently supply circulation water to the heating pipes, so that the user can heat a certain place using a corresponding valve.
[38] The circulation water passed through the places where need heating is collected at a return header 22 and is circulated to the heat source 10 through a second line 24. The above circulation is performed through the supply pump 26 connected with the second line 24.
[39]
[40] Hot water supply system
[41] As shown in Figure 1, the hot water supply system includes a hot water heat source
36, hot water pipes 42a, 42b and 50 and a supply valve (not shown) for supplying hot water to the places 4.
[42] The hot eater supply system 2 is a system for supplying hot water to rest room, bath stand, rinsing stand, etc. As a heat source 36 for generating hot water, a boiler is generally used. Conventionally, a home type hot water supply line is designed to separately generate hot water and supply to a place where needs the same. In this case, the supply water is supplied to the heat source 36 through the supply pump 32.
[43] The hot water heat source 36 heats the supply water to generate hot water which is supplied to the hot water supply header 40 through the first line 38. Here, the hot water supply header 40 is connected with the hot water pipes 42a, 42b and 50 connected with each place where needs the same. The hot water supply header 40 distributes hot water to each place where needs the same. A valve is connected at an end of the hot water pipe so as to control the supply of hot water.
[44]
[45] Preheating pipe
[46] In the hot water preheating system of the present invention, at least one heating pipe among the heating pipes of the heating circulation system 1 is used as a preheating pipe so as to preheat the supply water stayed in the hot water supply system 2.
[47] Generally, in the hot water heating system 2 with the above construction, in the case that hot water is not used, the hot water is stayed in the hot water pipe. The stayed hot water exchanges heat with external air, and the temperature of the hot water decreases. In this case, when the user reuses the hot water, it is impossible to quickly obtain hot water at the initial time, so that the user should wait until a desired hot water is outputted. Therefore, the stayed water is discarded. However, the present invention provides a hot water preheating system so that the stayed hot water constantly maintains a certain temperature in such a manner that the heating pipe of the heating circulation system 1 is adapted as a preheating pipe.
[48] First, the preheating pipes 19a, 19b and 20 are provided between the heating supply header 14 and the return header 22 together with each heating pipe 18 of the heating circulation system 1. A valve 16d is installed at the side of the supply header of the preheating pipe 19a so as to intermittently adjust the supply of the circulation water inputted into the preheating pipe 19a. With this construction, when the temperature of the circulation water of the heating circulation system is very high, it is possible to prevent the temperature of the hot water from too increasing by receiving the heat from the preheating pipes 19a, 19b and 20. Namely, it is possible to prevent the user from being burned by closing the valve 16d. Here, the preheating pipes 19a, 19b and 20 are installed near the hot water pipes 42a, 42b and 50. The preheating pipes are designed to directly or indirectly exchange heat with the heat exchange parts 20 and 50 of the hot water pipe.
[49] At this time, it is preferred that the heat exchange parts 20 and 50 are arranged closer to the supply valve among the hot water pipes because the farther side hot water from the supply valve in the stayed hot water, namely, the side of the hot water supply header 40, can maintain a certain temperature by the supply hot water having enough temperature. It is more effective that the temperature of the hot water at the side of the outlet is preheated to maintain the entire hot water temperature more than a certain temperature.
[50] The preheating pipes 19a, 19b and 20 transfer the heat of the heating circulation water to the supply water in the hot water pipe. At this time, since the temperature of the heating circulation water is generally above 45 C, it is possible to preheat the stayed hot water. The stayed hot water receives heat from the preheating pipe to maintain a certain temperature similar with the temperature of the heating circulation water. The user of the hot water can use a proper temperature hot water based on the hot water preheating procedure.
[51]
[52] Preheating (heat exchange) method [53] As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the heating exchange for preheating hot water may be implemented by various methods. Figures 4A and 4B and Figures 5 A through 5C are views illustrating the heat exchange methods between the preheating pipe of the hot water preheating system and the hot water pipe.
[54] Figure 4A is a view illustrating a state that the hot water pipes 42a, 42b and 50 and the preheating pipes 19a, 19b and 20 directly contact with each other. Namely, the heat exchange part 20 of the preheating pipe and the heat exchange part 50 of the hot water pipe exchange heat with each other in contact states, so that the temperature of the hot water in the hot water pipe increases. Figure 4B is a view illustrating a state that the preheating pipes 19a, 19b and 20 are arranged in a S shape at the lower side of the heat exchange part 50 of the hot water pipe, so that the S-shaped preheating pipe, in which the circulation water of high temperature circulates, can directly contact with the hot water pipe, whereby the temperature of the hot water of the hot water pipe increases by receiving heat from the S-shaped preheating pipe.
[55] Figure 5C is a view illustrating an indirect heat exchange method according to the present invention. In the case that the hot water pipe and the preheating pipe are arranged at certain intervals, a heat conduction member 44 is provided at the distanced space of the heat exchange parts 20 and 50, so that heat is transferred. Here, the heat conduction member 44 may be formed of copper or metallic material having a good heat conduction rate and may be formed of the like. The indirect heat exchange method may be used in the case that it is impossible to contact the preheating pipe with the hot water pipe. In addition, it is may be used to surround the outer sides of each pipe after the heat conduction member is filled in the distanced space of the heat exchange parts 20 and 50 for thereby enhancing the entire heat exchange efficiency. Figure 5A is a view illustrating a state that the heat conduction member of Figure 5C is arranged at part of the heat exchange part. As shown in Figure 5A, the heat exchange members 46a, 46b, 46c and 46d are arranged at part of the entire heat exchange parts. With this construction, when there is a thick wall member or a certain obstacle during the con¬ struction, a certain gap contacting with each pipe is provided, and an ordinary heat conduction member having a good heat conduction rate is filled in the gap. As shown in Figure 6, one heating pipe 18 among the heating pipes 18 may be adapted as a hot water preheating pipe of the hot water pipe 50 without an additional preheating pipe. Namely, the heat conduction members 47a, 47b and 47c are arranged between at least one heating pipe and the hot water pipe, so that the heat of the circulation water of the heating pipe is transferred to the hot water pipe for thereby increasing the temperature of the hot water of the hot water pipe.
[56] Figure 5B is a view illustrating a heat keeping pipe 48. The heat keeping pipe 48 surrounds the heat exchange part 20 of the preheating pipe and the heat exchange part 50 of the hot water pipe. At this time, the preheating pipe is distanced from the hot water pipe. The heat keeping pipe 48 surrounding each pipe includes air therein and is formed of an adiabatic material so that the internal air is not easily exchange heat with external air.
[57] The preheating pipe 20 of the heat keeping pipe 48 transfers heat to the air of the heat keeping pipe, and the internal air having increased temperature circulates and exchanges heat with the stayed supply water in the hot water pipe having relatively lower temperature, so that the temperature of the stayed hot water can have constant temperature based on the above heat exchange.
[58]
[59] Concurrent heating system
[60] Figure 2 is a view illustrating a hot water preheating system according to another embodiment of the present invention. The heating circulation system of Figure 2 has the same construction as Figure 1. Namely, circulation water is heated by the heating heat source 10, and the circulation water is supplied to the heating supply header 14 through the first line 12 and is distributed into each place, where needs the same, through the heating pipe 18. The distributed water is collected by the return header 22 and is circulated to the second line 24.
[61] At this time, the hot water supply system uses the heating heat source 10 as a hot water source. The heating heat source is connected with the hot water supply pipe and performs the function of the hot water heat source, so that a separate type heating and hot water supply system can be provided. In this case, the heat exchange is performed between the preheating pipe 20 and the hot water pipe 50 like in the earlier embodiment of the present invention, so that it is possible to perform a preheating operation of the hot water stayed.
[62] Figure 3 is a view illustrating a construction of a hot water preheating system according to another embodiment of the present invention. As shown therein, one of the heating pipes divided from the heating supply header 14 performs a function of the heating pipe 18a and then performs the functions of the preheating pipes 19a, 19b and 20. In addition, it may be designed to perform the function of the preheating pipes 19a, 19b and 20 and then performs the function of the heating pipe 18b after the heat exchange is performed with the hot water pipe 50.
[63]
[64] Hot water preheating system using heat pipe
[65] Figures 7 and 8 are views illustrating a hot water preheating system according to another embodiment of the present invention. As shown in Figure 7, the heating circulation system and hot water supply system are same in their basic construction and operation. So, the detailed description of the same will be omitted. Here, only the hot water preheating method will be described. Generally, the heat pipe does not have any medium in its interior. Volatile liquid is fully filled in the inner side where has many holes. Therefore, when heat is applied to one end of the heat pipe, the volatile liquid of one end of the same evaporates and is moved to the other end of the heat pipe with certain heat energy and is radiated. As shown in Figure 7, one end of the heat pipe 60 is connected with the hot water and/or heating heat source 10, and the other end of the same is connected near or contacts with the hot water pipe 50 between the supply header 40 and the supply valve 70. With this construction, when one end of the heat pipe 60 is heated by a heating part 11 of the heat source 10 like boiler, the heat energy absorbed at the end of the same is transferred to the other end of the heat pipe 60 based on the characteristic of the heat pipe, and finally the heat is transferred to the hot water pipes 13 and 50 which are directly contacted with or are arranged near the other side of the heat pipe 60, so that the temperature of the hot water pipe maintains certain temperature. Preferably, the other side of the heat pipe 60 surrounds the hot water pipe 50 arranged between the supply header 40 and the supply valve 70 of the hot water supply system for thereby maximizing the heat efficiency. As shown in Figure 7, the method of connecting the heat pipe 60 to the heat source 10 will be described. One end of the heat pipe 60 may be directly or indirectly connected with the heat source 10. For example, one end of the heat pipe 60 may be inserted into the heating part 11 of the heat source 10 and may be directly heated by the heat source 10. In another embodiment of the present invention, heat conduction member such as copper (Cu) may be inserted into the heating part 11, and the heat conduction member may be connected with one end of the heat pipe 60. Preferably, as shown in Figure 7, a preheating temperature adjusting valve 66 may be provided at an intermediate portion of the heat pipe 60. With this construction, the preheating procedure and preheating temperature of hot water may be freely adjusted. [66] Figure 8 is a view illustrating a state that the heat pipe 60 is connected with the heating pipe 18, not the heat source 10. As shown therein, one end of the heat pipe 60 is connected with at least one heating pipe among the heating pipes 18 of the heating circulation system, and the other end of the same is arranged near or is connected with the hot water pipe 50 between the supply header 40 and the supply valve 70. Therefore, when one end of the heat pipe 60 is heated by the heating circulation water flowing through the heating pipe 18, the heat energy absorbed at the end of the same is transferred to the other end of the heat pipe 60 based its characteristic, and finally the heat is transferred to the hot water pipes 13 and 50 arranged near or contacting with the other end of the heat pipe 60, so that the temperature of the hot water pipe can have constant degree. As shown in Figure 8, a valve 16c is provided at the side of the inlet of the heating water of the heating pipe connected with one end of the heat pipe 60. With this construction, it is possible to freely adjust the hot water preheating and preheating temperature based on the opened degree of the valve 16c.
[67]
