Abstract

The present invention provides installation structure of a veranda-installation-type air cleaner that keeps inside air fresh by sucking veranda air sterilized and heated by the sun to be purified and supplied to a living room, and an inside air cleaning method using the air cleaner. An installation structure of a veranda-installation-type air cleaner according to the present invention is that at a veranda is installed an air cleaner, which has a fan 30 that forces outer air into the inside of a body 10 through an air inlet 12 placed at the upper outside of a body 10 by setting of a setting display 14 on the outside of a body 10, and an air filter 20 that is linked with an intake 31 of the fan 30 at its lower part and purifies outer air from an air inlet 12 according to an operation of a fan 30 to be transferred to a lower fan 30; installed is a grill box 50 for air exhaustion whose one side is linked with a corrugated pipe 40 that is connected to an outlet 32 of the fan 30 to discharge the purified air from the air filter 20 into the outside of a body 10 and the opposite side is connected to a living room(LR), wherein the grill box 50 for air exhaustion discharges the purified air from the corrugated pipe 40 into the outside.

Description
INSTALLATION STRUCTURE OF VERANDA-IN¬ STALLATION-TYPE AIR CLEANER AND METHOD FOR CLEANING AIR IN A LIVING ROOM USING THE AIR
CLEANER
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to installation structure of an air cleaner and an inside air cleaning method, and more particularly to installation structure of a veranda-in¬ stallation-type air cleaner installed at a veranda of an apartment so as to keep inside air fresh by sucking and purifying air in a veranda sterilized and heated by the sun to be discharged into a living room, and a method for cleaning inside air in a living room using the air cleaner.

[3] An air cleaner is an air-purifying device that sucks outer air to be purified through an air filter and discharges the purified air into the outside.
[4] Fig. 1 is a sectional view of Korean utility model registration No. 2004-25019 an air cleaner for a building applied by the applicant of the present invention. Fig. 2 is a constitutional view of the air cleaner installed in a living room.
[5] As illustrated in Fig. 1, the air cleaner consists of a fan 30 that forces outside air into the inside of a body 10 through an outside air inlet 15; the first air filter 20 that primarily purifies outside air from an outside air inlet 15 by an operation of the fan 30 to be supplied to an inlet 32 of a fan 30; and the second air filter linked with an outlet 33 of a fan 30, which secondly purifies the first purified air from a fan 30 to be discharged into a living room through an air outlet 12.
[6] The above air cleaner purifies inside air by operating a fan 30 according to setting of a setting display 14 on the outside of a body 10, sucking outside air into the inside of a body 10 through an outside air inlet 15 at the lower part to be purified through the first air filter 20 and the second air filter 40, and discharging the purified air into a living room through an air outlet 12 at the upper part.
[7] Fig. 2 illustrates an embodiment of the conventional air cleaner installed in a living room, which sucks air from a veranda and purifies the air to be discharged into a living room, wherein an outside air inlet 15 of an air cleaner contains a corrugated pipe connection socket 15b and through this corrugated pipe connection socket 15b is joined to a corrugated pipe 15c connected with veranda space. [8] A window frame 60 in the living room has a transparent plate 50 that contains a corrugated pipe connection socket 51 on the inside of a through hole between a living room and a veranda, wherein the through hole is opened and closed by opening and closing a door 61. Air in a veranda is introduced into an air cleaner through a corrugated pipe 15c that is joined to a corrugated pipe connection socket 51 of a transparent plate 50.
[9] The above-mentioned, conventional air cleaner sucks air in a veranda into an air cleaner through a corrugated pipe 51c that is united with a corrugated pipe connection socket 51 of a through hole formed on the lower part of the transparent plate 50, purifies the sucked air through the first air filter 20 and the second air filter 40, and discharges the purified air into a living room through an air outlet 12 at the upper part.
[10] Meanwhile, a veranda is the place where the sun shines most, wherein air in a veranda is sterilized and heated by the sun to have a higher temperature than other places in a house. Generally, the warmed air in a veranda goes up and cooled air goes down.
[11] Accordingly, the air cleaner mentioned in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 does not suck air in the upper part of a veranda, sterilized and heated by the sun, into an air cleaner by in¬ troducing cool air in a veranda into an air cleaner through a through hole at the lower part of a transparent plate 50, which makes it difficult to sterilize indoor bacteria such as sick house syndrome, dust, ticks, fungi, etc.
[12] In addition, as an air cleaner is installed in a living room and linked with veranda space through a corrugated pipe 15c, it occupies considerable space in a living room to cause lack of space in a living room and makes a noise in a living room by an operation of an air cleaner. Furthermore, it has a troublesome problem with opening and closing a through hole of a transparent plate 50 with an inside door 61 of a living room according to an operation object of an air cleaner, as well as a corrugated pipe 15c, which connects an air cleaner with a veranda, and a transparent plate 50, installed at a window frame 60 of a living room, defile the appearance of a living room.

Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem
[14] Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide an installation structure of a veranda- installation-type air cleaner, which is installed in a veranda to secure space of a living room and sucks air in a veranda sterilized and heated by the sun to be purified and supplied to a living room, and a method of installing an air cleaner.
[15] Technical Solution
[16] In accordance with an aspect of the present invention, the above object can be ac¬ complished by the provision of an installation structure of a veranda-installation-type air cleaner that is installed in a veranda and purifies air in a veranda to be discharged into a living room. At a veranda is installed an air cleaner, which comprises a fan that forces outer air into the inside of a body through an air inlet placed at the upper outside of a body by setting of a setting display on the outside of a body; and an air filter that is linked with an intake of the fan at its lower part and purifies outer air from an air inlet according to an operation of the fan to be transferred into a lower fan; and installed is a grill box for air exhaustion whose one side is united with a corrugated pipe that is linked with an outlet of the fan to discharge the purified air from the air filter into the outside of a body, and the opposite side is connected to a living room, wherein the grill box for air exhaustion discharges the purified air from the corrugated pipe into the outside.
[17] The above grill box for an air exhaustion is contained within the wall between a living room and a veranda having an air cleaner and consists of a body having a lon¬ gitudinal through hole to connect a veranda with a living room; a detachable grill attached to the front of a body connected with the living room; a detachable corrugated pipe connection socket whose one side is attached to the backside of a body connected to the veranda and the opposite side is united with the a corrugated pipe.
[18] An inside window frame in a veranda having the air cleaner contains a transparent plate touching with the outside by opening and closing an inside door of a veranda, and the transparent plate has air inlet doors opening toward the inside of a veranda, wherein air inlet doors are preferably bound to a transparent plate at their upper parts by a hinge so as to open toward the inside of a veranda by a suction power generated at an air inlet by an operation of an air cleaner.
[19] In addition, the outside of a body of the air cleaner preferably has a temperature sensor that senses a temperature of outer air so as to operate a fan according to a fan operation setting temperature on the setting display.
[20] The body of the air cleaner consists of an upper body with an air filter, a middle body with a fan, and a lower body with a corrugated pipe, which are separately detachable and linked with each other. Each body has a door opening the inside space of a body.

Advantageous Effects
[22] As above-mentioned, a veranda-installation-type air cleaner in accordance with the present invention has an effect of sterilizing and purifying indoor bacteria of sick house syndrome, dust, ticks, fungi, etc by sucking air sterilized and heated by the sun through an air inlet at the upper part of an air cleaner to be purified and discharged into a living room. [23] In addition, because an air cleaner is installed in a veranda and a grill box for air exhaustion discharging the purified air from an air cleaner into a living room is contained within the wall between a veranda and a living room, space of a living room can be put to maximal use and noise generated by an air cleaner is not transferred to a living room. Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention [60] Hereinafter, the preferred embodiments of the present invention are explained in more detail referring to the attached drawings. [61] Fig. 3 is a perspective view of a veranda-installation-type air cleaner in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 4 is a perspective view of an air cleaner with open doors. Fig. 5 is a perspective view of an air cleaner with open doors containing a corrugated pipe. Fig. 6 is a partly disassembled, sectional view of an air cleaner. [62] As illustrated in Fig. 3 to Fig. 6, a body 10 of an air cleaner in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention consists of an upper body 10a, a middle body
10b, and a lower body 10c that are separately detachable and linked with each other. The lower part of the upper body 10a, the upper and lower parts of the middle body 10b, and the upper part of the lower body 10c have through holes with the same diameter, and the upper body 10a, the middle body 10b, and the lower body 10c are connected through a through hole on the connection of each body 10a, 10b, and 10c. In addition, the front side of each body 10a, 10b, and 10c has an upper door 11, a middle door 13, and a lower door 15 opening inside space of each body.
[63] An upper door 11 of the upper body 10a has an air inlet 12 penetrating the inside and outside of an upper body 10a so as to suck outer air into the inside of an upper body 10a of an air cleaner, wherein the air inlet 12 is embodied through a grill in an embodiment of the present invention.
[64] A middle door 13 of the middle body 10b has a setting display 14 setting and indicating an operation of an air cleaner, wherein the setting display 14 sets and indicates an operation of a fan 30 within the inside of a middle body 10b. The setting display 14 comprises a power switch to supply power to a fan 30 within the inside of a middle body 10b, a speed regulation switch to set a motion speed of a fan 30, a timer to set an operation time of a fan 30, a temperature setting switch to set an operation temperature of a fan 30, a start switch to operate a fan 30, lights to indicate the operation state of the above switches, etc. In addition, the setting display 14 further comprises a temperature sensor 14a measuring a temperature in and around a veranda where an air cleaner is placed.
[65] The lateral and lower part of a lower body 10c of an air cleaner with the above lower door 15 has a corrugated-pipe through hole 16 so as to insert a corrugated pipe 40, placed in the inside of a lower body 10c, to be protruded outwards.
[66] Meanwhile, inside the upper body 10a of the above air cleaner is an air filter 20 purifying air from an air inlet 12. Inside the middle body 10b is a fan 30 forcing outer air into an air filter 20 through an air inlet 12. Inside the lower body 10c is a corrugated pipe 40 whose one side is connected to the lower part of the fan 30 and the opposite side is protruded from a corrugated-pipe through hole 16.
[67] Each body is linked by placing a middle body 10b on the upside of a lower body
10c so as to make through holes matched, inserting a screw 18 into the inner and upper part of a lower body 10c to unite the upside of a lower body 10c with the underside of a middle body 10b by a screw 18, placing an upper body 10a on the upside of a middle body 10b, inserting a screw 18 into an inner and upper part of an upper body 10a to unite the upside of a middle body 10b with the underside of an upper body 10a by a screw 18, and fixing an upper body 10a, a middle body 10b, and a lower body 10c. Because each body 10a, 10b, and 10c united by a screw 18 is separable by removing the screw 18, a voluminous and heavy air cleaner is disassembled and easily transferred in moving an air cleaner. A screw 18 fixing the above upper body 10a, middle body 10b, and lower body 10c can be replaced by other fixing means and the fixing location of this screw 18 also can properly be modified.
[68] Meanwhile, an outlet 32 transferring air discharged from a fan 30 within a middle body 10b is placed in through holes on the underside of the middle body 10b and the upside of the lower body 10c, wherein to the lower part of this outlet 32 is attached a corrugated pipe connection socket 32a that is connected with a corrugated pipe 40. Moreover, an intake 31 putting air into a fan 30 within a middle body 10b is installed in through holes on the underside of the upper body 10a and the upside of the middle body 10b, wherein to the upside of this intake 31 is attached an air filter connection socket 31a that is connected with an air filter 20.
[69] In addition, an anti-dust agent 17 consisting of sponges, etc is fixed and installed between the bottom of the middle body 10b and the lower part of a fan 30 to prevent polluted air(dust, etc) from entering through a lower outlet 32 into a corrugated pipe 40.
[70] An air cleaner with the above constitution discharges purified air outwards by sucking outer air through an air inlet 12 into an air filter 20 by a fan 30 within the middle body 10b, purifying air through an air filter 20, and passing the purified air through an intake 31 to be supplied to a corrugated pipe 40 through an outlet 32.

[74] As illustrated Fig. 12 to Fig. 15, a grill box(50) for air exhaustion contained within the wall between a veranda(VE) and a living room(LR) comprises a body 51 having a longitudinal air exhaustion passage, a detachable grill 52 attached to the front of the open body 51, and a detachable corrugated-pipe connection socket 53 attached to the back side of the open body 51.
[75] On the both sides of a body 51 having the grill 52 and corrugated pipe connection socket 53 is an elastic body to support a combination with the grill 52 and corrugated- pipe connection socket 53, and the grill 52 and corrugated-pipe connection socket 53 engaging with the elastic body contains combinative grooves to support a combination with a body 51. In case the grill 52 and corrugated-pipe connection socket 53 are detached from a body 51, the grill 52 and corrugated pipe connection socket 53 are pulled from a body 51 outwards, which makes a binding force between an elastic body and combinative grooves weakened by pressure, therefore the grill 52 and corrugated- pipe connection socket 53 are detached from a body 51.
[76] In an embodiment of the present invention, the grill 52 is formed as a variable grill capable of controlling an air exhaustion direction up and down, right and left. One end 53a of the corrugated-pipe connection socket 53 is united with a body 51 and the other end 53b is linked with a corrugated pipe 40 protruding from the outside of an air cleaner by a linking means.
[77] Because the grill box 50 for air exhaustion is contained within the wall between a living room(LR) and a veranda(VE), a hole the size of a body 51 is bored in the wall to insert and fix the body 51 into a hole, followed by linking a grill 52 and one end 53a of a corrugated-pipe connection socket 53 with both ends of a body 51 in a living room(LR) and a veranda(VE), joining the opposite end 53b of a corrugated pipe connection socket 53 to a corrugated pipe 40 protruding from an air cleaner by a linking means.
[78] As the installation method of the grill box 50 for air exhaustion spends a lot of time and cost in boring a hole in the wall, the time and cost for a hole can be saved if the body 51 of the grill box 50 for air exhaustion is inserted into the wall between a living room(LR) and a veranda(VE) in building an apartment, followed by carrying out a concrete wall instead of the above method.
[79] Meanwhile, as illustrated in Fig. 11 in accordance with another embodiment of the present invention instead of the above method, a through hole of a size capable of inserting a corrugated pipe 40 is formed in the wall between a living room(LR) and a veranda(VE), followed by inserting a corrugated pipe 40 protruding from an air cleaner in a veranda into the through hole toward a living room(LR), connecting a protruded corrugated pipe 40 in a living room(LR) with a corrugated pipe connection socket 53 of a grill box 50 for air exhaustion to place a grill box 50 for air exhaustion in a living room(LR).
[80] Among windows in a veranda(VE) where the air cleaner is installed, a transparent plate 60 consisting of polycarbonate, etc is installed at the one end of an inside window frame 70 in a veranda(VE) in order to have outer air supplied. Fig. 16 illustrates a plan sectional view of a transparent plate installed at a veranda window frame in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. [81] As illustrated in Fig. 8 to Fig. 10, and Fig. 16, the transparent plate 60 has many air inlet doors 61 and 62 opening toward the inside of a veranda(VE), wherein the air inlet doors 61 and 62 are bound to a transparent plate 60 by a hinge at their upper parts so that they usually blocks the opened air inlets of a transparent plate 60 by load to be closed but open toward the inside of a veranda(VE) by a suction power generated at an air inlet 12 by an operation of an air cleaner if an air cleaner is operated. While an air cleaner is not operated, the air inlet doors 61 and 62 preferably have rubber packing at the region touching with a transparent plate so as to close air inlets of a transparent plate 60.
[82] In addition, in case the veranda inside window 71 overlaps with a transparent plate, rubber packing is set at the overlapping end of the transparent plate 60 or a veranda inside window 71 to remove a gap in order to eliminate a gap between a veranda inside window 71 and a transparent plate 60.
[83] In case air in a veranda(VE) is purified and supplied to a living room(LR) using an air cleaner installed at a veranda, a veranda inside window 71 is opened at a pre¬ determined interval as wide as a transparent plate 60, and then if an air cleaner is operated, air inlet doors 61 and 62 of a transparent plate 60 open toward the inside of a veranda(VE) by a suction power generated by an air cleaner to have outer air enter into a veranda(VE). Air in a veranda that is present at the upper part and sterilized and heated by the sun enters into an air inlet 12 of an air cleaner. Air in a veranda entering into an air inlet 12 is purified through an air filter 20 in the inside of a body 10, followed by delivering the purified air through a corrugated pipe 40 to a grill box 50 for air exhaustion to be discharged into a living room(LR).

Mode for the Invention
[85] Hereinafter, an operation process of the air cleaner consisting of the above con¬ stitution in accordance with the present invention will be explained.
[86] Fig. 17 is an air flow chart showing the whole operation process of an air cleaner in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention.
[87] Prior to explaining an operation of an air cleaner, it will be explained that an air cleaner is installed at a veranda, a grill box 50 for air exhaustion is placed in the wall between a veranda(VE) and a living room(LR) and united with an air cleaner through a corrugated pipe 40, and a veranda window frame 70 contains a transparent plate 60 with air inlet doors 61 and 62. In addition, it will be described that in order to suck outer air into the inside of a veranda(VE), a veranda inside window 71 is opened as wide as a transparent plate 60 to touch air inlet doors 61 and 62 on a transparent plate with the outside. [88] First, in order to operate an air cleaner, operation condition circumstances are set on the setting display 14 of an air cleaner, wherein operation circumstance setting in an embodiment of the present invention is accomplished by setting time to operate an air cleaner, veranda temperature to operate an air cleaner, operation speed of a fan 30, etc(step SIlO).
[89] If operation conditions like operation time, operation temperature, etc set on a setting display 14 of an air cleaner are satisfied(step S 120), power is supplied to a fan 30 to operate a fan 30(step S 130).
[90] As a fan 30 operates, an air inlet 12 of an air cleaner sucks air from a veranda(VE), thereby air inlet doors 61 and 62 of a transparent plate 60 installed at a veranda window frame 70 open toward the inside of a veranda(VE) by a generated suction power to introduce outside air into a veranda(VE)(step S 140).
[91] Along with the introduction of outside air into a veranda(VE), upper air in a veranda(VE) enters into an air inlet 12(step S 150), air in a veranda entering into an air inlet 12 is purified through an air filter 20(step S 160), and air purified through an air filter 20 is discharged into a grill box 50 for air exhaustion through a corrugated pipe 40 linked with an outlet 32 of a fan 30(step S 170).
[92] A grill box 50 for air exhaustion discharges purified veranda(VE) air through a grill 52 into the inside of a living room(LR)(step S 180), wherein the above process is consistently repeated and carried out as far as a user manipulates a setting display 14 to finish an operation of an air cleaner, operation time set on a timer is completed, or the temperature of veranda air for operating an air cleaner does not deviate from a setting range(step S190).
[93] Meanwhile, in case inside air, not outside air, is purified and circulated, an inside door 71 of a veranda is closed to cut off air inlet doors 61 and 62 of a transparent plate 60 from the outside, followed by opening a door of a living room(LR), operating an air cleaner, and purifying inside air in a veranda(VE) and a living room(LR) through an air cleaner to be circulated.

[95] As above-mentioned, a veranda-installation-type air cleaner in accordance with the present invention is installed in a veranda to purify veranda air and to be supplied to a living room through a grill box for air exhaustion.

[97] As above-mentioned, a veranda-installation-type air cleaner in accordance with the present invention has an effect of sterilizing and purifying indoor bacteria of sick house syndrome, dust, ticks, fungi, etc by sucking air sterilized and heated by the sun through an air inlet at the upper part of an air cleaner to be purified and discharged into a living room.
[98] In addition, because an air cleaner is installed in a veranda and a grill box for air exhaustion discharging purified air from an air cleaner into a living room is installed in the wall between a veranda and a living room, space of a living room can be put to maximal use and noise generated by an air cleaner is not transferred to a living room.
[99] Moreover, because a body of an air cleaner is separated into an upper body, a middle body, and a lower body, each body is separated and easily transferred in moving an air cleaner by.

Claims
[1] An installation structure of a veranda-installation-type air cleaner installed at a veranda to purify veranda air and to discharge the purified air into a living room, the air cleaner comprising: a fan 30 for forcing outer air into the inside of a body 10 through an air inlet 12 placed at the upper outside of the body 10 by setting of a setting display 14 on the outside of the body 10; an air filter 20 for, linked with an intake 31 of the fan 30 at its lower part, purifying outer air from the air inlet 12 depending on an operation of the fan 30 to be transferred to a lower fan 30; a corrugated pipe 40 connected to an outlet 32 of the fan 30 to discharge the purified air from the air filter 20 into the outside of the body 10; and a grill box 50 for discharging air exhaustion whose one side is linked with the corrugated pipe 40 and whose the other side is linked with the living room.
[2] The installation structure of a veranda-installation-type air cleaner as set forth in claim 1, wherein the grill box 50 for air exhaustion comprising: a body 51 having a longitudinal through hole, contained within the wall between the veranda having the air cleaner and the living room to connect the veranda(VE) with the living room(LR); a detachable grill 52 attached to the front of the body 51 connected to the living room(LR); a corrugated pipe connection socket 53 whose one side 53a is linked with the back side of the body 51 connected to the veranda(VE) and the opposite side 53b is united with the corrugated pipe 40.
[3] The installation structure of a veranda-installation-type air cleaner as set forth in claim 1, wherein a transparent plate 50 touching with the outside by opening and closing of the veranda inside window 71 is installed at an inside window frame 70 in the veranda(VE) where the air cleaner is placed; and air inlet doors 61 and 62 opening toward the inside of the veranda(VE) are formed on the transparent plate 50.
[4] The installation structure of a veranda-installation-type air cleaner as set forth in claim 3, wherein the air inlet doors 61 and 62 are engaged to a transparent plate 50 at their upper parts by a hinge to open toward the inside of the veranda(VE) by a suction power generated at the air inlet 12 by the operation of the air cleaner.
[5] The installation structure of a veranda-installation-type air cleaner as set forth in claim 1, wherein the outside the body 10 of the air cleaner has a temperature sensor 14a for sensing a temperature of outer air so that the fan 30 is operated according to an operation setting temperature of the fan 30 on the setting display 14.
[6] The installation structure of a veranda-installation-type air cleaner as set forth in claim 1, wherein the body 10 of the air cleaner comprises an upper body 10a with the air filter 20, a middle body 10b with the fan 30, and a lower body 10c with the corrugated pipe 40 that are separately detachable or attachable each other, and each bodies 10a, 10b, and 10c have door 11, 13, and 15 for opening the inner space of the body, respectively.
[7] A method for cleaning inside air using an air cleaner according to one of claims 1 to 6, the method comprising the steps of sterilizing and heating upper air in the veranda(VE) by using sun; sucking and purifying the air; and supplying the purified air to the living room(LR).
