Abstract

The invention relates to a security seal for containers, which have a location provided for opening and a closure element and/or a label. The security seal is a thin single-layer adhesive coating film that is applied, at least in part, to the closure element, to the label, to the location provided for opening, and to areas adjacent thereto located on the container surface, and has at least one optically and/or machine-detectable element.
