Abstract

Realization of juncture is described, which enables angular connection of wooden frame elements, mainly at frames for windows and doors. At its ends composable frame elements are cut at angle of 45 degrees. Perpendicular to contact surfaces (1 ) ring-shaped groove (6) and borehole for juncture screw (3) are bored. Glue can be applied on contact surfaces. Juncture ring-shaped element (6) is inserted into above mentioned grooves. Frame elements (4) and (5) are mutually fixed with connecting screw (7).

Description

ANGULAR JUNCTURE FOR WOODEN FRAME CONSTRUCTIONS
The object of the invention is angular juncture for wooden frame constructions, mainly for windows and doors, and the procedure for its production. According to International Patent Classification the invention belongs to E06B.
The technical problem solved by this invention is such angular juncture, which is solid enough, simple for production and realized with .simple machines. There are many different solutions of angular junctures. The most common realization is by means of stopping, in recent period also the realization by means of treenailing or by insertion of lens-shaped wooden nibs. There are also realizations by inserted elements in the shape of dovetail, which can be made of wood or plastic material.
The known solutions are according to Patent AT402 428 B - the solution with treenails, according to EP 0 057 307 Al - the realization with juncture element in the shape of dovetail, and according to EP 0 271 892 A2 - the realization with lens-shaped wooden nibs. Classical stopper juncture is rather demanding for production and the technology and tools are relatively expensive, as well. Other described solutions are simpler, but still require special machines for production. The solution proposed by the invention comprises the following advantages: it enables production by means of simple and cheap technology, in composed state juncture is hidden, the solution enables efficient superficial protection of frame elements before composition, and also with the same procedure frame elements of various profiles can be composed, juncture elements are made from wood - from the same material as frame elements, which are composed, what enables optimal adhesion, the shape of the juncture element enables additional surface of adhesive junction, what enhances strength of adhesion junction. The solution will be described below and explained with sketches.
Composable frame elements are at its ends cut at angle of 45 degrees. Perpendicularly to the composable cut surface 1 the ring-shaped goove 2 and the borehole for juncture screw 3 are made by means of boring. Borehole for screw is on one side bored throgh the element 4, which will be connected to element 5. On such prepared elements 4 and 5 glue is applied on contact surfaces 1 and on ring-shaped groove 2. The ring- shaped juncture element 6 is inserted and the juncture is fixed with screw 7. This scew takes over the loads, which arise at composition till the moment, when glue connects the elements together, and after that the loads are beared by the glue juncture on contact surfaces 1 and by the juncture between the ring-shaped element 6 and the grooves on the elements 2. The solution can be reasonably used also for the junctures at the angle different from 45 degrees.

Claims

PATENT CLAIMS
1. Angular juncture for wooden frame constructions, characterized in that on contact surfaces (1 ) of composable elements, ring-shaped grooves (2) and boreholes for screws (3) are bored, on surfaces (1 ) and groove (2) glue is applied, in groove (2) ring-shaped juncture element (6) is inserted, frame elements (4) and (5) are mutually fixed with a screw (7).

Procedure for production of angular juncture for wooden frame constructions, characterized in that the composable frame elements are cut at preferred angle, on contact surfaces (1) ring-shaped groove (2) and borehole for juncture screw (3) are bored, on composable surfaces (1 , 2) glue is applied and ring- shaped juncture element (6) is inserted, after that frame elements (4) and (5) are mutually fixed with screw (7).
