Abstract

La présente invention a trait à un procédé et un système pour l'éclairage d'un élément corporel sélectionné avec une lumière en vue de stimuler des réactions bénéfiques sélectionnées de l'élément corporel entraînées par une telle exposition et pour fournir une photothérapie. De la lumière est fournie à l'aide d'un module de distribution (41) comportant un ou des composants (45) qui s'adaptent autour d'un élément corporel (43), ou sont situés à un endroit particulier sur ou adjacent au corps, où chaque composant de distribution de lumière peut être commandé de manière indépendante. L'élément corporel est exposé à la lumière à l'intérieur d'une première plage de longueurs d'onde et à la lumière à l'intérieur d'une deuxième plage de longueurs d'onde, dans un premier intervalle de temps et dans un deuxième intervalle de temps, respectivement, qui sont séparés par un intervalle de temps de champ obscur choisi où il ne se produit sensiblement aucune exposition lumineuse, sauf l'éclairage ambiant. Les première et deuxième plages de longueurs d'onde peuvent être identiques, peuvent se recouvrir mutuellement, ou peuvent être mutuellement exclusives et se trouvent de préférence à l'intérieur des plages du visible et de l'infrarouge combinées.
