Abstract

The invention relates to methods for producing a lock and to a lock structural design and can be widely used for producing locks of all types. The inventive lock comprises a body (1), a latch or bolt (2), an additional body (3) provided with an internal cavity and authorised displacement means (4) arranged in the bodies. The body (1) and the additional body (3) are provided with annular grooves and are connected to a catch (5) which is disposed between said bodies in such a way that it is pivotable and displaceable, wherein said catch comprises a projection whose shape corresponds to the shape of grooves. The inventive structural design simplifies the lock assembly and the repair thereof when needed.
