  • the contact element 41 is apt to let easily remove the filter 4, held by the gasket 5, once said filter is inserted onto the thread 31 of the container 3. Usually, it is absolutely necessary to use a knife, or another pointed tool, onto the traditional coffee-maker filter in order to prize it out and remove it, whereas the presence of the contact element 41 allows to avoid such a hazardous operation.
  • the elastic bottom 21 centrally has a seat 24, apt to house the contact element 41 in order to foster the contact of the latter and position the cup-shaped body precisely at the center of the filter 4 and of the boiler 1.
  • the bottom wall 12 is round-shaped, in a manner such as to be capable of centering the cup-shaped body 2 also at the open end 22 thereof.
  • the seat 24 and the round shape of the bottom wall 12 act as means for centering the cup-shaped body 2 with regard to boiler 1.
  • the beverage should flow through the interspace 14, then transit through the filter 4, and flow into the container 3 to get to the elongate portion 36, and lastly to outpour onto the base 32 inside the container 3.
  • the water and the infusion material 6 are inserted inside the region 23. As in this first stage the water and the infusion material 6 should not be present inside the interspace 14, first of all the cup-shaped body 2 has to be filled.
  • the cup-shaped body 2 should be upturned with respect to the working configuration; hence, it shall have the open end 22 upward and the elastic bottom 21 downward. Thus, it may be filled with water and infusion material 6.
  • the cup-shaped body 2 further comprises means for metering, which in the present embodiment is a groove 25 obtained about the sidewall of the cup-shaped body.
  • the cup-shaped body could be filled up to the mark indicated by the groove 25, and ensure a precise amount of water.
  • the groove 25 improves the structural stiffness of the cup-shaped body, limiting the deformability thereof.
  • the boiler 1 is upturned and inserted, in this configuration, onto the cup-shaped body 2, after having filled the latter with water and infusion material 6, holding it also upturned.
  • the boiler 1, with the cup-shaped body 2 therein, is returned to a standing position, taking care that the open end 22 remains in contact with the bottom wall 12, to prevent water spilling.

  • the exact size, as a function of the selected material, may be assessed from empirical tests, or optionally by exploiting the scheme described above for the elastic bottom 21, according to which the latter may be schematized as a disc rested onto the center, onto which an uniform pressure acts.
  • the boiler 1 and the container 3 may be those of a traditional 'Moka' coffee maker.
  • the shape of the boiler 1 in this case is not cylindrical anymore but frustopyramidal, with a generally hexagonal base. Since the cup-shaped body 2 should be capable of being inserted inside the boiler 1 and be free to lift therein, the former should anyhow be cylinder-shaped.
  • the boiler 1 having the shape of a pyramid and the cup-shaped body that of a cylinder, it is evident that the interspace 14 has a greater size at the bottom zone, nearer to the bottom wall 12. Therefore, in this case, though the operation of the device is anyhow ensured, there cannot be used all the fluid contained inside the region 23, as, unavoidably, some of the beverage will remain in the bottom region of the boiler 1.

Abstract

L’invention concerne un dispositif pour élaborer des infusions et des boissons similaires à partir d’une substance d’infusion (6), comprenant une bouilloire (1) comportant une paroi de dessous (12), un récipient (3) pour la boisson élaborée, un corps en forme de tasse (2) susceptible d’être inséré à l’intérieur de ladite bouilloire (1), dans une position tournée vers le haut, et présentant une extrémité ouverte (22) au fond de ladite bouilloire (1) et une deuxième extrémité obturée par un fond élastique (21), et un filtre (4), interposé entre la bouilloire (1) et le récipient (3) et présentant un élément de contact (41) doté du fond élastique (21). Le dispositif est conçu de telle sorte que, durant une première étape d’élaboration, ladite extrémité ouverte (22) du corps cylindrique (2) est au contact du fond de la bouilloire (1), en définissant ainsi une région (23) susceptible de contenir de l’eau et la substance d’infusion (6), et, durant une deuxième étape, une fois l’infusion achevée, l’extrémité ouverte (22) est soulevée de la paroi de fond (12), pour définir ainsi un orifice (26) susceptible de permettre le transfert de la boisson élaborée. Le soulèvement de l’extrémité ouverte (22) par rapport à la paroi de fond (12) se fait suite à une montée en pression dans ladite région (23) provoquée par l’échauffement de l’eau, ledit soulèvement étant entravé par le fléchissement du fond élastique (21) contre l’élément de contact (41).
