Description

Membrane thermo-acoustique et isolante Thermo-acoustic and insulating membrane
The present invention relates to a thermo-acoustic radiant membrane, comprising one or more support layer (s) of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester or metal such as aluminum, bronze, copper, on which or or between which is laminated a layer of rubber granules of size ranging from 2 to 30 wicks, from tires out of use or other. Fibrous components such as wood fibers, mineral fibers, synthetic fibers or plant fibers can be laminated or mixed with the aggregates to ensure better adhesion of the latter to the membrane.
L'épaisseur du laminât de granulats sur la couche est de Va" à 5A" (environ 3 mm à 16 mm).In practice, the rubber granules and / or fibers are attached to the base layer with hot elastomeric bitumen and / or latex and / or polyurethane. The thickness of the laminate of aggregates on the layer is 5 to 5 mm (about 3 mm to 16 mm).
The rubber granules and / or the fibers may be deposited on the entire surface of the support layer or only a portion thereof, which then has a checkerboard shape with a non-granulated portion and a granulated portion. The aggregates may also be arranged in rows, the rows of aggregates being for example 6 "(about 15 cm), the intermediate rows 2 '(about 5 cm) .1 The width and distance of the rows or the checkerboard arrangement can of course vary according to the needs.
The membrane according to the invention is intended to be installed on a floor, under a concrete screed of a thickness preferably equal to 1 Vz "(about 38 mm), under a self-leveling lightweight cement screed or under a sheet Once installed, the membrane provides a suspension to the floor, in addition to allowing a thermal, radiant and acoustic optimization of the same floor.
In use, it acts as a spring between the floor finish and its structure.
The membrane according to the invention is therefore particularly well suited for use in the field of residential construction. It can actually adapt to all structures of wood, concrete and metal. It can also receive various floor finish products such as wood, ceramics or others. As previously mentioned, the main role of the membrane according to the invention is to soundproof the floors against impact noise while being radiant.
The invention will be better understood on reading the non-restrictive description which follows, made with reference to the appended drawings in which:
Figure 1 shows a sectional view of a floor portion equipped with a membrane according to the invention on which has been disposed a concrete screed, a concrete panel or a layer of cement; and Figure 2 is a partial sectional view of a floor on which a membrane according to the invention has been disposed under a plywood panel on which a floor finish has been applied, all resting on a concrete slab.
In the embodiment illustrated in Figure 1, the thermo-acoustic radiant membrane 1 according to the invention is disposed on a plywood sheet 3 resting on the beams 5 of a floor. The membrane 1 then serves as a support for a concrete screed 7 of for example VA "(38.1 mm), a concrete panel or a layer of self-leveling lightweight cement, on which is disposed a floor finish 13 of the type conventional, for example of a chipboard and / or a layer of wood finish or ceramic.
EXEMPLEIn the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 2, the membrane 1 according to the invention is disposed on a floor 9 consisting of a layer of concrete. On this membrane 1 can be arranged a high density chipboard 11 which can itself serve as a support for a floor finish 13 of conventional type, such as finishing wood or ceramic. EXAMPLE
A floor similar to that illustrated in FIG. 1 was made in the field on a full floor surface using a membrane according to the invention comprising a support layer consisting of a polyester film on which rubber granules had been laminated. of a size between 4 to 8 wicks.
Le plancher ainsi réalisé comprenait, en descendant depuis sa surface supérieure vers le bas :The floor thus realized included, descending from its upper surface downwards:
- une couche de bois de finition de 3A" (environ 19 mm);- a layer of wood finish of 3 A "(about 19 mm);
- un panneau de bois aggloméré de haute densité de Va" (environ 16 mm);- a board of high density wood of Va "(about 16 mm);
- une dalle de béton de VΛ" (environ 38 mm);- a V d "concrete slab (approximately 38 mm);
- la membrane selon l'invention telle que décrite ci-dessus, d'une épaisseur de 9/16" (environ 15 mm);the membrane according to the invention as described above, with a thickness of 9/16 "(approximately 15 mm);
- un panneau de bois aggloméré haute densité de %" (environ 16 mm); et- a high density fibreboard of% "(about 16 mm), and
- des poutrelles ajourées de 13" (environ 330 mm), entre lesquelles se trouvaient de la laine soufflée), ces poutrelles étant associées à des barres résilientes de Yz" (environ 13 mm) supportant un panneau de placoplâtre ignifuge de %" (environ 16 mm).- 13 "(approximately 330 mm) openwork beams, between which were blown wool), these beams being associated with Yz" resilient bars (approximately 13 mm) supporting a% "fireproof plasterboard panel (approx. 16 mm).
The tests carried out led to the following results:
These tests have confirmed that the membrane according to the invention has indeed created an excellent acoustic break between the concrete slab and the wall structure, in addition to forming a basin retaining water during the establishment of concrete .
