Description

PELVISCORRECTINGAPPARATUS
Technical Field The present invention is related to a pelvis correcting apparatus, and especially to a pelvis correcting apparatus to correct an already widened or distorted pelvis to put it in place as well as to prevent a female pelvis from being widened or distorted.
Background Art Recently, various correcting pelvis devices have been developed and one example of the devices is shown with the Korean utility model registration No. 20-0296879. According to the above conventional utility model, a pelvis correcting apparatus comprises a low bench for a user sitting thereon; a pedestal equipped with a supporting plate erected upward from both parts of the low bench; a pair of air bags on the right and the left therein, each air bag installed in the inside of the supporting plate for expanding and contracting with air charged in and discharged out of the air bag; air feeding means supplying air pressure to the pair of air bags, wherein it presses around a pelvis region of a user by way of air pressure fed into the air bag. However, there is a problem in the conventional pelvis correcting apparatus in that it can not properly embody various forms of pressure movement, for example, finger-pressure treatment or patting or trembling, since it is designed to press around a pelvis region through air pressure fed into the air bag. Thus, to deal with this problem, an improved pelvis correcting apparatus has been developed to have a vibration motor and a low-frequency oscillator that are additionally installed in the low bench so that the pelvis muscle can be slackened. However, there is also a problem with the improved apparatus in accomplishing the desired effect because it is only to irritate the hip of the user, rather than to directly irritate the pelvis. Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem As the present invention is conceived to solve the foregoing problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a pelvis correcting apparatus to suppress or treat obesity of the hip by correcting the already widened or distorted pelvis to put it in place and preventing a female pelvis from being widened or distorted. Another object of the present invention is to provide a pelvis correcting apparatus for improving an effect of pelvis correction by properly embodying various forms of pressure movement, for example, finger- pressure treatment or patting or trembling.
Technical Solution To accomplish the above objects, the pelvis correcting apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a pedestal for a user sitting thereon; at least one pair or more of pressing units each arranged in both sides of the pedestal facing the other to press a pelvis region of the user sitting on the pedestal; a driving motor rotating clockwise and counter-clockwise installed at one side of the pedestal; pressing unit moving means for simultaneously moving a remaining pressing unit toward the pelvis with the driving motor when one of any pair of the pressing units moves toward the pelvis, and for moving the remaining pressing unit away from the pelvis when one of any pair of the pressing units moves from the pelvis; a switch unit having a plurality of switches for generating related signals according to selection by the user; and a control unit for electrically controlling the driving motor by generating a control signal based on the related signals generated from the switch unit. Also, the pressing unit moving means according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention further comprises a serrated wheel rotated by the driving motor with a rotatory power; a first and second-rotating hollowed poles each inserted into the serrated wheel and threaded inside in the opposite direction against each other; a first transmission shaft, one end of the first transmission shaft being threaded to move linearly along threads formed inside of the first-rotating hollowed pole and the other end being connected to the pressing unit; and a second transmission shaft, one end of the second transmission shaft being threaded to move linearly along threads formed inside of the second-rotating hollowed pole and the other end being connected to the pressing unit. Another aspect of the present invention is such that a plurality of protrusions are preferably formed on the surface thereof contacting user's pelvis in the pressing unit of the present pelvis correcting apparatus. Another aspect of the present invention is such that a buffer is preferably attached to the surface thereof contacting user's pelvis in the pressing unit of the present pelvis correcting apparatus. Another aspect of the present invention is such that the buffer of the present pelvis correcting apparatus can be an air bag capable of contracting and expanding with air charged in and discharged out of the air bag.
Advantageous Effect The pelvis correcting apparatus according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention enables users to suppress obesity of their hips or to correct an already widened or distorted pelvis to put it in place as well as to prevent a female pelvis from being widened or distorted. Besides, a pelvis correcting effect can be improved with a pelvis correcting apparatus according to a present invention by properly embodying various forms of pressure movement, for example finger-pressure treatment, patting or trembling.

Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention A pelvis correcting apparatus according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention is hereinafter described in more detail with attached drawings. As shown in Figs 1 to 6, a pelvis correcting apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a pedestal (1) for a user sitting thereon; at least one pair or more of pressing units (10a) and (10b) each arranged in both sides of the pedestal (1) facing the other to press a pelvis region of the user sitting on the pedestal (1); a driving motor (2) rotating clockwise and counter-clockwise installed at one side of the pedestal (1); pressing unit moving means (20) moving according to by operation of the driving motor (2); a switch unit (30) having a plurality of switches; and a control unit (40) for electrically controlling the driving motor (2) by generating a control signal based on related signals generated from the switch unit (30). The pedestal (1) is a board for a user sitting thereon, wherein as shown Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, a supporting frame (9) is attached to accommodate the driving motor (2) and the pressing unit moving means (20) in the lower part thereof. The pressing unit (10a) and (10b) are arranged in at least one pair or more on both sides of the pedestal (1) corresponding each other to press a pelvis region of the user on the pedestal (1). Preferably, a number of protrusions (11) are formed to improve pressing effect over the pelvis region on the surface thereof contacting user's pelvis in the pressing unit of the pelvis correcting apparatus according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention. As shown in Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, the driving motor (2) is mounted to rotate clockwise and counter-clockwise on the blocking plate (9a) formed in the middle of the supporting frame (9) that is attached in the lower of the pedestal (1), in which an elongated shaft (3) in the same axis as a central shaft (2a) of the driving motor (2) is rotatably inserted into the supporting frame (9) by interposing through the bushing (6), and a serrated wheel (5) is inserted in the outer of the elongated shaft (3) to deliver a rotating power with a timing belt (4). As shown in Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, the pressing unit moving means (20) further comprises a serrated wheel (21) rotated by the driving motor with a rotatory power; a first and second-rotating hollowed poles (22a) and (22b) each inserted into the serrated wheel (21) and threaded inside in the opposite direction against each other; a first transmission shaft (23a), one end of the first transmission shaft being threaded to move linearly along threads formed inside of the first-rotating hollowed pole (22a), and the other end being connected to the pressing unit (10a); and a second transmission shaft (23b), one end of the second first transmission shaft being threaded to move linearly along threads formed inside of the second-rotating hollowed pole (22b) and the other end being connected to the pressing unit (10b). Reference numbers of 24a, 24b, 24c, and 24d throughout Figures, not mentioned herein, are the bushings inserted into the supporting frame (9). With this configuration as described above, the pressing unit moving means (20) functions such that a driving power of the driving motor (2) installed at one side on the supporting frame (9) is delivered to the serrated wheel (21) through the timing belt (4) and as the serrated wheel (21) is rotated, as shown in Fig. 5, the first and second-rotating hollowed poles (22a) and (22b) each inserted into the serrated wheel (21) are simultaneously rotated, wherein as the first and second-rotating hollowed pole (22a) and (22b) are rotated, the first and second transmission shafts (23a) and (23b) are horizontally transmitted along the threads formed in the inside of the first and second-rotating hollowed poles (22a) and (22b). Since the threads formed in the inside of the first and second-rotating hollowed poles (22a) and (22b) are formed in the opposite direction, the first and second transmission shafts (23a) and (23b) are simultaneously moving in a direction of receding from or approaching each other. Therefore, the pressing unit moving means (20) functions according to the driving of the driving motor (2) installed at one side of the supporting frame (9) in such a way that when any pair (10a) of the pressing units (10a) and (10b) moves toward the pelvis the remaining pressing unit (10b) simultaneously moves toward the pelvis, and when any pair (10a) of the pressing units (10a) and (10b) moves away from the pelvis the remaining pressing unit (10b) simultaneously moves from the pelvis. Meanwhile, although in the above detailed embodiment of the pressing unit moving means (20) the first and second-rotating hollowed poles (22a) and (22b) is as formed as each thread faces in the opposite direction from the right and left side of the serrated wheel (21), it is clearly understood that a minor deviation, such as forming the first and second- rotating hollowed poles (22a) and (22b) as one body and forming a limited part of threads in the inside thereof in the opposite direction, belongs to the scope of the present invention. While the driving motor (2) is controlled to operate the pressing unit moving means (20) with a handler (100) by the user, as shown in Fig. 6 the handler (100) is comprised of a controlling unit (40) having a micro¬ computer, a switch unit (30) and a display unit(50). The switch unit (30) includes a push-switch selecting a function for patting on the pelvis, a massage-switch selecting a function for massaging, a trembling-switch selecting a function for trembling, a strength/weakness- switch controlling strength of functions selected by said push-switch, said massage-switch and said trembling-switch, a timer-switch selecting lasting time of said selected functions, and a power-switch for on-offing power. Since these switches are conventional, reference numbers thereof are omitted. The display unit may be comprised of a timer indicator designating time, a function indicator designating functions selected by the user, and a strength/weakness indicator designating strength of selected functions. The controlling unit (40) generates a controlling signal to control the driving motor (2) based on related signals generated from the switch unit (30). In the present pelvis correcting apparatus as comprised of the above, since there is a function operating for patting over the pelvis, massaging or trembling by controlling the driving motor (2) with control signals transmitted from the control unit (40) based on the related signals generated from the switch unit (30), it is practicable to directly operate the strength thereof over the pelvis, the effect of correcting a pelvis is improved. In Fig. 7, an example is shown that the buffer (12) is attached to the surface thereof contacting user's pelvis in the pressing units (10a) and (10b) of the pelvis correcting apparatus according to an embodiment of the present embodiment. In such a case where the buffer (12) is attached to the surface of the pressing unit, it is expected that rigid contact with the pelvis of the user is relieved to some degree. Various forms of buffers can be used as buffering means in the present invention and examples such as gel, balloon, and preferably an air bag can be used. In the case of using an air bag as the buffering means, the air bag is capable of contracting and expanding with air charged in and discharged out of the air bag by an air feeder. When the air bag is used, it is operated in such a way that the air bag is so expanded as softly to press pelvis of the user by charging air in the air bag with conventional air feeding means such as an air pump and then moving the pressing unit toward the pelvis of the user or receding it under the condition that the air bag is expanded before directly pressing the pelvis of the user by moving the pressing unit. Although the invention has been shown and described with reference to the certain preferred embodiment thereof, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes in form and details may be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims.
Industrial Applicability As described above, the pelvis correcting apparatus according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention enables users to suppress obesity of their hips or to correct an already widened or distorted pelvis to put it in place as well as to prevent a female pelvis from being widened or distorted. Besides, a pelvis correcting effect can be improved with a pelvis correcting apparatus according to a present invention by properly embodying various forms of pressure movement, for example finger-pressure treatment, patting or trembling.
