Abstract

The application relates to a device such as Hydromag comprising electromagnets or permanent magnets for preventing the precipitation of lime scale. All parts except the magnetic cartridge are from plastic such as polypropylene. The plastic elements are connected by heating to the working temperature of 260 degrees C.

Description

Hydromag PP anti-limescale device
DESCRIPTION
Field to Which Invention Belongs
This invention refers to devices for preventing sedimentation of lime scale which operates on the principle of permanent magnets and electromagnets.
Technical Problem
The technical problem which is being solved by this application is the reduction of the price of these devices by construing the device body, according to the drafts enclosed, positions 1 and 2, from polypropylene of random type 3 or from the material PE-X/Alu/PE-X, PPSU.
Status of Technology
This type of device for preventing sedimentation of lime scale is presently not known in the world. There exist variations of similar devices, but exclusively in metal (as a rule from non-magnetic materials, brass and Prokrom steel). The essence of the device is not in the way of stacking of magnets in the magnet cartridge, because this technology is already adopted in the world. The essence is in the execution of the housing of the device and the technology of connecting parts of the housing (positions 1 and 2 on drafts enclosed).
Presenting Essence of Invention The basic function of the device is to treat water with a magnetic field which is created by magnets in the magnet cartridge as presented in position 3 on drafts enclosed. The first technical novelty of the invention is in the use of the materials for device housing, positions 1 and 2. For this invention, material polypropylene of random type 3 was used, according to ISO standards for pipes and connecting elements.
Another technical novelty is the way of connecting parts of the device. In our case, the method of heating connecting elements to the temperature of up to approx. 260 degrees Celsius is used. It is also possible to carry out connecting by the method of poly-fusion welding of parts, and gluing with an adequate glue is also possible. Elements of the device housing made from the material PE-X/Alu/PE-X, PPSU for sanitary and heating installations can also be used. These elements use the method of connecting by pressing. The used elements for all variants of execution of the device are from the following manufacturers:
- WARVIN1 - EKOPLASTIK, - GIACOMINI, - VARGON PLAST, - TORO, - COES, - AQUATEHNIC, - AQUATERM, and other similar world producers of elements for heating installations and plumbing. Short Description of Drafts
Presented are three variations of the Hydromag device Type A - pp, for the connection size of 3/4 inches.
Execution HydroMAG Type A - pp - M - male thread on both sides HydroMAG Type A - pp - F - female thread on both sides HydroMAG Type A - pp - M/F combined thread. Apart from this execution, this application includes all the flange executions which are made by manufacturers as finished elements. The contents of executions are in all sizes and variants, from elements which the stated manufacturers have in their product range.
Description of Drafts
The Hydromag device is composed of three basic positions:
1. Coupling with male/female thread, 2. Housing of the device made form pp pipe, 3. Magnetic cartridge.
The drafts contain three variants of connecting for every given single size, but the contents of the application include all sizes from 3/8 inches to 10 inches.
Detailed Description of at Least One Way of Realization of Invention As shown in the enclosed drafts for HydroMAG size 3/4", except for position 3 - magnetic cartridge, all the elements in the enclosure are of standard type produced by the stated manufacturers. Connecting of the device elements is done by heating to the connecting temperature of approx. 260 degrees C. By using standard elements of the stated manufacturers, and applying the technology of connecting by heating, the production of the HydroMAG device gained a high quality and low manufacturing costs.
Means of Implementing the Invention
By the use of final elements for the HydroMAG device, as well as the new technology of connecting the elements, the production became cheaper and of a better quality. By using the complete assortment of parts, many variants in execution and sizes of the HydroMAG device are possible. The device is used in such a way that it is built in a new or an existing processing system. The device can be built-in on any part of the installation.

Claims

1. The HydroMAG device is defined with three positions. The magnetic cartridge which is situated within the housing of the device, and the coupling through which the device is connected to the existing installation, characterized by the fact that the stated housing is made from the material polypropylene of random type 3 or PE-X/Alu/PE-X or other plastic materials allowed by the regulations for hydro-installations and heating installations, and that the stated coupling is made from polypropylene of random type 3 or PE-X/Alu/PE-X or other plastic materials allowed by the regulations for hydro-installations and heating installations. 2. The used positions of the coupling and the housing are characterized by the fact that they are final products. 3. Connecting of the housing and the coupling is characterized by the fact that the technology of connecting of the stated elements is by their heating to the working temperature of 260 degrees C.
1. Coupling 2. Housing 3. Magnetic cartridge
