Abstract

The invention relates to a picture holder (10) for receiving pictures (22), wherein at least one suction element (14) is arranged thereon in order to suspend the picture holder. Said picture holder can also be suspended on smooth walls.

The invention relates to a picture holder according to the preamble of claim 1.

Image holders or picture frames are known from the state of the art for the recording of areal images, such as pictures or photos, which are set up or hung up. To set up is usually sufficient a folding stand or the picture frame itself. Another possibility to set up a picture frame are eyelets for hanging, fastening ropes, magnets or perforations for nails, screws or hooks. Furthermore, picture frames can also be glued.

One problem with these known picture holders is that they may not be suitable for mounting on glass, such as windowpanes, mirrors or other smooth surfaces, such as glass. Tiles, sheet metal, refrigerator doors or plastics.

It is therefore an object of the invention to provide an image holder that can be attached to smooth surfaces.

The object of the invention is achieved by a picture holder with the features of claim 1. Preferred embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

According to the invention, at least one suction cup is fastened or attachable to the image holder with which the image holder can be attached to any smooth surface. For attachment are preferably one to four suction cups. For heavy and larger picture holder but also more suction cups can be used.

The suction cups are preferably attached to the rear wall of the image holder. For this purpose, for example, holes are arranged on the rear wall of the image holder, in which the suction cups can be pressed with a head-like fastening part. It can also be provided slots or slots in the rear wall of the image holder, which extend to the side edge, so that a suction cup, for example, with a rear head-like widened fastening supply part can be inserted from the sides of the image holder in the slots. Alternatively, it can also be provided that on the rear wall of the image holder, a neck ring is formed on which a suction cup is engaged behind a positive fit. In this case, the suction cup together with the enclosed by the neck ring rear wall portion of the image holder forms the suction cup.

In a very versatile usable form of an image holder, the suction cup attaching means formed on the image holder, such as the suction cup, are e.g. Holes or slits also adapted to cooperate with a complementary fastening means of a folding stand, so that instead of the suction cup and a folding stand can be attached to the picture holder. The picture holder can then be hung on smooth surfaces as well as placed. The picture holder may, in addition to the attachment means for the suction cup, also have holes on its rear wall with which it can be fitted in the usual way, e.g. on a nail, can be hung.

In a very shapely design, the picture holder is molded from a one-piece material plate. A rear support portion, to which the suction cup / cups are / are attached, in this case merges via a connecting region into a support portion for the rear side of the image. The connection region can either be shapely round shaped, or be provided in the form of edges and straight areas. The support portion is connected via a second connection portion approximately parallel to a front portion or a front wall of the image holder. The front area is formed either as a frame in which the image area of the image is recessed, or the front area is formed as a continuous front wall, which covers the image at least largely, preferably completely flat. In this case, the image holder is preferably made of a transparent material such as glass or plastic. The support portion, together with the second connection portion, forms a pocket for the image to the front portion. The free end of the front portion may in turn comprise a rearwardly bent portion which comprises the side facing away from the bag edge of the image. Such a picture holder is very shapely and presented in a simple way a picture very effective.

Preferably, the image holder is rectangular, ie formed for the presentation of rectangular images. However, it can also have other shapes that are common in images, an oval, circular or polygonal shape. In another very attractive embodiment, the image holder is again made of a one-piece transparent material and forms a pocket formed by the front and rear walls of the image holder and the connecting portions extending therebetween. A picture can be inserted into this bag. On the back wall of the image holder in turn, the above-mentioned fastening means such as holes slots or projections are formed. The attachment means for the suction cup or the suction cup itself can also be provided on a support element, for example a support plate, which can be connected to the image holder, preferably to the rear wall of the image holder.

In another embodiment, the image retainer preferably consists of a front wall with two rearwardly bent edges which comprise the image at its front as well as at its two opposite edges. The bent edges cooperate with a rear wall which carries fastening means for the suction cup or the suction cup itself. The image holder is mounted here by placing the image between the bent edges on the back side of the front wall and then pressing in the back wall between the bent edges of the front wall so as to engage, preferably snap, the bent edges. The front side of the rear wall, which faces the image, preferably has pressing points, ledges or surfaces which press against the rear side of the image, so that it bears evenly against the rear side of the front wall. The front wall can either be frame-like or in the form of a closed wall, in which case it must be made of a transparent material. The rear wall does not have to be made of a transparent material in this embodiment. As transparent material, all kinds of usable for this purpose plastics or glass can be used, glass should be used due to its manufacturing cost only for very high-quality images holders use.

Although an arrangement of the suction cups or suction cup attaching means may be provided in an area behind the image so that the suction cups are covered by the image and thus invisible, there may be reasons for the suction cups to be laterally offset from the image receiving area to arrange so that the suction cups are visible even from the front. The picture holder can in principle consist of any material such as wood, metal, glass or plastic. In the case of an overlap of the image area of the held image through the front wall of the image holder, this must of course be transparent.

Figure 1 shows an image holder 10, consisting of a curved plastic plate, which has the following sections after bending. Figures 3 and 4 show an image holder 50 consisting of a front wall 52 and a rear wall 54, which are connected to each other via an upper and lower connecting portion 56, 58. On the back of the rear wall 54, a retaining ring 62 is molded, which engages behind a suction cup made of a soft rubber or plastic 64 and thus fixed to the image holder 50. The suction cup is thus formed here by the suction cup ring 64 as well as by the inside of the retaining ring 62 formed surface 66 of the rear wall 54 of the image holder 50.

Another embodiment of an image holder 70 is described in FIGS. 5 and 6. FIG. 5 shows the front view of the transparent image holder, while FIG. 6 describes the section A - A from FIG. The image holder 70 consists of a transparent plastic front wall 72, which is bent backwards at its upper and lower edges and thus forms enclosures 74, 76 for a rear wall 78. The rear wall is held by means of latches 80 between the enclosures 74, 76 of the front wall 72. Figure 7 shows an image holder 100 made of a transparent plastic, e.g. Polyacrylic. Figures 9 and 10 show an image holder 130 consisting of a C-shaped frame part 132 whose inner profile forms a pocket 134 for a picture 136. The free ends of the C-profile of the frame part 132 have bevels 138 which extend towards the pocket 134. Between these bevels 138, an adhesive plate 140 with its complementarily tapered side edges 142 is positively received. The adhesive plate 140 is preferably elastic and carries formed on its side facing away from the frame 132 back two suction cups or suction cups. Figures 16 to 18 show a two-part image holder 150 consisting of a, preferably transparent, frame part 152, which laterally rearwardly projecting enclosures, each having a ramp-shaped receiving edge 154 for receiving a holding part 156. The holding part 156 carries at its two side edges complementary receiving edges 158, which come in the vertical assembly of frame part 152 and holding part 156 in the illustrated end position in abutment. The holding part has holes for the attachment of two adhesive suction 160. On its side facing the image, the holding part has ribs 164 which press an image 166 against the front wall or the frame 168 of the image holder 150, so that the image lies flat against it.

FIG. 19 shows an image holder 170 which is completely made up of a single piece including the front frame 172, the rear wall 174 and the suction cup 176.
