Description SHOE FOR TAEKWONDO Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a shoe for Taekwondo, and more particularly, to such a shoe which players wear in order to minimize an injury occurring in their feet or ankles during a conventional barefoot Taekwondo competition. Background Art
[2] As generally well-known, an actual Taekwondo sparring or competition is performed with a player's bare foot in order to protect the player safely during Taekwondo competition. There are, however, many risks of injury occurring on the player's bare foot while performing kicking and the like. For example, when a player attacks an opponent's body with his or her bare foot, both the player and the opponent frequently suffer from an injury occurring, especially, on their feet or ankle area.
[3] Therefore, there is an urgent need for a method of positively preventing the player's feet or ankle from being injured. Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem
[4] Accordingly, the present invention has been made in view of the above problems occurring in the prior art, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a shoe for Taekwondo which is made of a very soft leather cloth that has a degree of tactile sense identical to that of a human skin texture, to thereby minimize an injury occurring in player's feet or ankles during a barefoot Taekwondo competition.
[5] Particularly, the present invention has been completed based on an technical task for providing a shoe for Taekwondo which do not make a wearer feel alienated, can positively protect a player's feet and ankle during a sparring or competition, and can also prevent an opponent from being injured on his or her body part when being kicked and the like. Technical Solution
[6] To achieve the above object, according to the invention, there is provided a shoe for Taekwondo which can be worn by a player in a Taekwondo sparring or competition, including: an upper having a fastening cover formed on the top thereof so as to be detachably attached thereto, the upper including a toe portion, an ankle portion and a heel portion formed integrally with the ankle portion; a sole formed integrally with the upper in such a fashion that the upper and sole are sewn together into one single piece after a soft leather cloth is previously cut in separate pieces, the sole having a plurality of sole exposure holes formed thereon in such a fashion that several parts of the sole of a wearer's feet are exposed to the outside; a pair of Velcro patches fastened to their corresponding points on the upper and the fastening cover so that the fastening cover is detachably attached to the upper; and a buffer member provided at each of the ankle portion and the heel portion in such a fashion as to correspond to both left and right tali of a wearer's ankle and a rear part of his or her heel, the buffer member having a shock absorbing pad embedded therein. Advantageous Effects
[7] The shoe for Taekwondo according to the present invention consisting of an upper and a sole permits a player to perform a Taekwondo sparring or competition with it worn by him or her during the competition. The upper and the sole made of a soft leather material are configured to be integrally formed with each other into one single piece by sewing operation, so that the wearer does not feel alienated and hence gives an excellent wearing feeling to him or her. Brief Description of the Drawings
[8] Further objects and advantages of the invention can be more fully understood from the following detailed description taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which:
[9] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a shoe for Taekwondo according to the present invention.
[10] FIG. 2 is an elevational view of the shoe for Taekwondo according to the present invention.
[11] FIG. 3 is a bottom view of a shoe for Taekwondo according to the present invention.
[12] FIG. 4 is a partial cross-sectional view of one essential part of the shoe for Taekwondo according to the present invention.
[13] FIG. 5 is a partial exploded sectional view of a shoe for Taekwondo of the shown in FIG.4. Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[14] The preferred embodiments of the invention will be hereafter described in detail, with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[15] FIG.1 illustrates a perspective view showing a shoe for Taekwondo according to the present invention. FIG.2 is an elevational view of the shoe for Taekwondo of the invention. FIG.3 is a bottom view of a shoe for Taekwondo of the invention.
[16] As shown in drawings, a shoe 1 for Taekwondo according to the present invention comprises an upper 2 and a sole 3, which are manufactured by using an extremely soft leather cloth from natural and synthetic leather, in such a fashion as to be previously cut in separate leather pieces and then to be sewn together into one single piece. [17] In addition, the upper 2 is provided with a fastening cover 4 formed on the top thereof, which is configured to be detachably attached thereto by means of a pair of Velcro patches 5 and 5a. At this time, the Velcro patches 5 and 5a are fastened to their corresponding points on the upper so that the shoe cannot be easily escaped from a wearer's feet.
[18] The upper 2 is further provided with a plurality of vent holes formed thereon over its entire top area. The upper 2 includes a toe portion 2a, an ankle portion 2b and a heel portion 2c formed integrally with the ankle portion 2b, which are sewn together with the upper 2 to form one single piece using different colors in each pieces, to thereby improve designability of its external appearance.
[19] Furthermore, the ankle portion 2b and the heel portion 2c are respectively provided with a buffer member 7 having a shock absorbing pad embedded therein to be formed at positions corresponding to both left and right tali of wearer's ankle and a rear part of the heel portion 2c which meet therewith, thereby absorbing the impact force generated when being kicked and the like. The ankle portion 2b is also formed to wrap around the wearer's ankle area so as to avoid from the risk of spraining his or her ankle. At this time, the ankle portion 2b is fastened firmly by means of the pair of Velcro patches 5 and 5a which can be detachably attached thereto.
[20] Meanwhile, the sole 3 constituting the bottom part of the shoe 1 for Taekwondo has a plurality of sole exposure holes formed thereon in such a fashion that several parts of the sole of a wearer's feet are exposed to the outside, thereby maximally preventing the wearer's feet from being slipped during a Taekwondo sparring or competition. In addition, the sole further has a plurality of vent holes 6 formed thereon for passing air therethrough.
[21] In this case, it is preferred that the sewing areas of the upper 2 and the sole 3, the ankle portion 2b and the like are finished inside the shoe 1, so that sewn layers of the shoe 1 generated during a cutting process are not created visibly.
[22] The shoe 1 for Taekwondo according to the present invention as constructed above is employed when performing a Taekwondo competition and a free sparring and the like.
[23] The shoe according to the present invention, particularly, provides an excellent wearing feeling to a wearer, and light in weight. Furthermore, the shoe can minimize the injury occurring when attacking an opponent with his or her feet and defencing from the attacker.
[24] More specifically, the present invention includes the upper 2 and the sole 3 which are sewn together into one single piece using an extremely soft leather cloth so that its wearer may not feel alienated thereon. Additionally, since the fastening on a fastening portion and an ankle portion 2b of the upper 2 is respectively performed by means of a pair of Velcro patches 5 and 5a, in the case where a fastening lace is used for fastening the shoe, injuries due to being slapped by a tip of the lace can be prevented.
[25] Furthermore, the sole 3 constituting the bottom part of the shoe has a plurality of sol exposure holes formed thereon in such a fashion that several parts of the sole of wearer's feet directly contact the surface of the floor on which the wearer is standing during a competition, thereby preventing the wear from being slipped off on the floor.
[26] In addition, the ankle portion 2b is configured to serve to firmly wrap around the wearer's ankle portion, so that a risk of spraining his or her ankle can be maximally prevented during the competition. Simultaneously, the buffer member 7 having the shock absorbing pad embedded therein is formed at positions corresponding to both left and right tali of wearer's ankle and an upper part of the heel portion which meet therewith, thereby preventing the wearer's tali and the like from being injured during the competition.
[27] Industrial Applicability
[28] As described above, the shoe for Taekwondo according to the present invention consisting of an upper 2 and a sole 3 permits a player to perform a Taekwondo sparring or competition with it worn by him or her during the competition. The upper 2 and the sole 3 made of a soft leather material are configured to be integrally formed with each other into one single piece by sewing operation, so that the wearer does not feel alienated and hence gives an excellent wearing feeling to him or her.
[29] Furthermore, since a pair of Velcro patches 5 and 5a are employed as a fastening means to be detachably attached to the upper, in the case of a lace as a fastening means, injuries due to being slapped by a tip of the lace would be avoided. Simultaneously, the pair of Velcro patches 5 and 5a function to wrap around the wearer's ankle, thereby minimizing a possibility of spraining his or her ankle.
[30] Additionally, the buffer member 7 functions to protect the left and right tali of wearer's ankle and an upper part of the heel portion, to thereby positively prevent a player's feet and body part from being injured.
[31] While the present invention has been described with reference to the particular illustrative embodiments, it is not to be restricted by the embodiments but only by the appended claims. It is to be appreciated that those skilled in the art can change or modify the embodiments without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention.
