Abstract

The invention relates to a hydraulic vane rotator joining the end part of a crane with a wood-working aggregate. In order to increase the extent of standardisation of a suspension irrespective of the mounting dimensions of a suspension bracket for attaching a rotator to the crane on the protruding part of the non-rotating central shaft (4) there is fixed by means of joint (5) a separable connector (6) having sizes corresponding to the mounting dimensions of the suspension bracket. The rotator contains a rotating unit consisting of a case (1), sleeve (2) and cover (3). The rotator contains a system of channels through which hydraulic pressure via chambers formed of blades and surfaces of the non-rotating shaft (4) and the rotating sleeve (2), is exerted in order to turn the rotating unit.

Description

HYDRAULIC VANE ROTATOR
The present invention relates to hydraulic devices, namely, to hydraulic vane rotator joining the end part of a crane with wood- working aggregate, e.g., with "Harvester" type unit, and it is being used for rotation the said unit by a certain angle by means of exerting hydraulic pressure between the non-rotational and supporting surfaces. As an important feature having an influence upon the reliability of operation of this system is a specific design enabling to implement method of applying of the hydraulic pressure to the rotator directly from the wood- working aggregate, which practically to a high degree eliminates any possibility of abruption of hydraulic pressure hoses. For this reason, the above mentioned type of the rotator is the most commonly used. A rotator of prior art which operation is based on the mentioned method of setting up the pressure is known, in particular as a design of a wing type rotator, for example, from description to patent of Sweden No. 457436, MKI4 B66C13/08, F15B9/12, 1987, which contains a rotor as a rotating shaft and a case in which this shaft is installed. Rotator of prior art characterizes by that the exerting of pressure to rotate the central shaft, to which the wood-working unit is attached, is ensured through channels made in the same rotating shaft. In this case, as an non-rotational element, which is joined to the crane by means of the suspension bracket, serves the rotator case, which is a basic part of design having pre-determined mounting dimensions. A disadvantage of the above described design of the hydraulic rotator of prior art resides in the fact the mounting dimensions cannot be changed without the cardinal redesigning of the device, owing to which the rotator can be joined to the crane when using specific pre-determined standard mounting dimensions of the suspension bracket. Another vane rotator of prior art is known, e.g., from description to the Latvian patent No. 12874, MKI7 B66C13/12, F15B9/12, 2002, (prototype), which is provided with a rotating unit having a case unit with a cover and a sleeve, and a central axle made as a non-rotating unit designed for joining it with the end part of a crane. The design of this rotator also enables to implement method of applying of the hydraulic pressure to the rotator directly from the wood- working aggregate. A disadvantage of the described design of the hydraulic rotator of the prior art, as it was mentioned above, is the given mounting dimensions which according to design of this modification also cannot be varied An object of the present invention is to mcrease the degree of unification to make available joining rotator to the crane independently of the standard mounting dimensions of the suspension bracket According to the present invention there is provided a hydraulic vane rotator for mounting on the crane suspension of a wood- working aggregate by means of an non- rotational unit of the rotator, including a central shaft fixed in the rotating assembly, containing a case with a sleeve and a cover, a system of holes and channels in it for passing a hydraulic liquid and chambers in which the hydraulic liquid can be feed, or accordingly removed from them, to turn the rotating assembly, characterized by that the said rotator is provided with a separable connector mounted on a protruding part of the central shaft with a possibility of its replacement depending on mounting dimensions of the suspension bracket It is advisable to realize that the attachment of the connector to the central shaft by means of the joint taking up the rotational and axial loads Moreover, it is also advisable the said joint to make as a round expandable key having inherent effect of self-braking The invention may be better understood from the following detailed description of an embodiment thereof due reference being made to the accompanying drawing, in which is illustrated cross-section of the rotator according to invention The said vane rotator contains a case 1, a sleeve 2, a cover 3 and a central shaft 4 of the rotator, and the central shaft 4 is designed as non-rotational element on protruding part of which is mounted and fastened by means of a joint 5, a replaceable connector 6 having mounting dimensions corresponding to the mounting dimensions of the suspension bracket Attachment of the connector 6 to the central shaft 4 is implemented by means of the joint 5 of such type that can take up the rotational and axial loads, in particular this joint 5 is executed as a round expandable key having inherent self- breaking effect. For all that the case 1, the sleeve 2, and the cover 3 are executed as a block unit consisting of case-stator-cover, which rotates around the central shaft 4. For this purpose, the insert 7 operating as a plane bearing is pressed into the case 1, and the disk 8 provided with the shell 9 which stands also duty as a plane bearing, is inserted into the cover 3 . In order to take up the axial loads the rotator is provided by thrust roller bearings, one of which, designated by figure 10, is inserted into the cover 3, and it bears on a shoulder of the shaft 4 through the disk 11, and the second thrust roller bearing, designated by figure 12, is inserted into the case 1, and the bottom part of the central shaft 4 bears on this bearing 12. Between the cover 3 and the case 1, there is mounted the sleeve 2, and the whole block unit of the case-sleeve-cover is bolted together with screws 13. The case 1 is provided with threaded holes in which two connecting pipes 14 are screwed in order to supply and pour out the liquid, also with technological holes, as well as with the threaded holes 15 intended for bolted attachment of the wood-working unit (not shown).
The rotator also contains the system of hydraulic channels, through which supply of the hydraulic pressure is carried out during operation of the rotator in order to build up the pressure in the corresponding chambers formed of blades (not shown) and of surfaces of the non-rotating shaft (4) and the rotating sleeve (2), and rotation of the block unit of case-sleeve-case in the specific direction, as well as in the opposite direction in case of building up the pressure in the other direction. Thus, owing to the invented design of rotator, by means of carrying out of a simple assembling operation when changing the separable connector 6 made in accordance with the consumer's mounting dimensions, the joining of the rotor to the suspension brackets having different standard mounting dimensions may be performed without changing the design of the rotator itself. , The hydraulic rotator in accordance with the present invention is industrially applicable due to the fact that the said hydraulic rotator may be manufactured and widely used when mounted on the end part of a crane with the wood- working aggregate.
