Abstract

The present invention relates to hydraulic devices, namely, to hydraulic vane rotator joining the end part of a crane with wood-working assembly, e.g., with a "Harvest" type unit, and it is being used for turning the said unit through a certain angle by means of exerting hydraulic pressure between the non-rotational and supporting surfaces. Its aim is to increase the extent of unification of a suspension irrespective of a standard mounting dimensions of a suspension bracket when attaching rotator to crane. The said vane rotator contains an integral unit containing a case (1), a sleeve (2) and a cover (3), these three elements being bolted together by screws, and a stationary unit with a central shaft (4), on which the protruding part is mounted and fastened by means of a joint (5) a replaceable connector (6) having mounting dimensions corresponding to the mounting dimensions of the suspension bracket. Attachment of the connector (6) to the central shaft (4) is implemented by means of the joint (5) that can take up the rotational and axial loads, in particular this joint (5) can be executed as a round expandable key having inherent self-braking effect. The insert (7) operating as a plane bearing is pressed into the case (1), and the disk (8) provided with a bushing (9) also serves as a plane bearing, which is inserted into the cover (3). In order to take up the axial loads, the rotator is provided with thrust roller bearings (10, 12), the first one (10) of which is inserted into the cover (3) and is rested on the shoulder of the shaft (4) through the disk 11, and the second one (12) is inserted into the case (1) and is rested on the bottom part of the central shaft (4). The rotator is provided with the system of hydraulic conduits/pipes (14) and technological holes, through which, during the operation of rotator, hydraulic pressure is applied to the corresponding compartments of the sleeve (2) and the said integral unit (1, 2, 3) is turned in the necessary direction. The wood-working set (not shown) can be attached directly to the case (1).
