- the annular piston 16 moves up and down.
- the feed device 50 includes a recess 54 which, during the stroke of the annular piston 16, forwards the material melt to the inflow opening ZF1.
- the recess 54 receives the molten material via an inlet channel 55, which is rigidly connected to an extruder line (not shown).
- a similar feed device 52 with a recess 56 is also provided for the second molten material which is supplied to the second inflow opening ZF2.
- the recesses 54, 56 have in the vertical direction a length corresponding to the stroke of the ring Piston 16.
- the feed device 50, 52 is preferably formed as a ring segment and extends along the circumference of the annular piston 16. According to this example, the extruder line must perform no pivoting movements during the stroke of the annular piston 16, so that moving parts can be saved.
- the columns 57 hold the feeders 50, 52 and leave enough free space around this device 50, 52, so that in the region of the recesses 54, 56 sufficient and then encrusting material can be easily removed.

- the inflow opening ZF1 is rigidly connected to a supply cylinder 60.

- the hydraulic device 70 is used to relieve and works so that it takes a part of the weight of the annular piston 16, which rests on the material melt contained in it when filling the ring storage space 14.
- the annular piston 16 may have a weight of several tons, so that the material properties of the molten material can change under this pressure.
- the hydraulic device 70 thus eliminates part of the weight when filling the ring storage space 14.
- the hydraulic device 70 is deactivated, so that the weight of the annular piston 16 supports the ejection.
- the hydraulic device 70 has a cylinder 74 with a piston 76, wherein the cylinder 74 is rigidly connected to the annular piston 16.
- the piston 76 is supported against the housing or the annular jacket 8, whereby a compact arrangement achieved.
- a unit with cylinder and piston can be arranged diametrically opposite on both sides of the annular piston 16.
- a collecting device 80 is arranged above the annular piston 16, the dripping hydraulic oil from the hydraulic devices for the annular piston 16 and the sleeve 6 intercepts. This hydraulic oil would drip on the head side of the hot ring piston 16 in operation, resulting in pollution and other disadvantages. Via a discharge line 82, the hydraulic oil is led out of the region of the annular piston 16 and discharged.
