It comprises the control unit attached on one part of the housing member and adjusting time and temperature; a toothbrush holder forming a space on the upper therein and having several apertures linked to the said space; a carbon heating sheet sized to cover the lower part in the said space of above toothbrush holder and having a carbon heating sheet that is connected to internal wall of the housing and directly emits heat to the bristle portion of a toothbrush; and a covering sized to cover the front portion of the housing. This invention is featured to have excellent effects of drying, sterilizing and deodorizing since it directly irradiates the far infrared rays on the bristle portion of the toothbrush using the carbon heating sheet; has strength of simple structure and reduced defect ratio since dry and sterilization are simultaneously accomplished by single heating sheet.

Description

Description A TOOTHBRUSH STERILIZING DRIER BY FAR INFRARED RAY Technical Field
[1] This invention is about a toothbrush sterilizing drier and in greater detail, the sterilizing drier by far infrared ray having excelent effects of sterilizing, drying and deodorizing the toothbrush by directly irradiating the far infrared ray and radiant heat of carbon heating sheet. Background Art
[2] In general, we brush our teeth to prevent tooth decay, but if the toothbrush is stored in wet status for some period of time after brushing, bacteria may propagate on the bristles of the toothbrush, causing offensive odor as wel as transfer the bacteria to the teeth through toothbrush, causing decayed tooth.
[3] According^, many toothbrush driers have been suggested recently. Such driers adopt the PTC heater (5) and generate heat in heating plate(4); aim to dry and sterilize the bristle of toothbrush with indirect heat by adopting it on the tower part of the drier rather than directly generating heat on the bristles since they are made up of synthetic resin materials which are weak to heat.
[4] In addition, ultraviolet ray lamp (6) is separately attached to give the function of sterilizing the bristles of the toothbrush. Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem
[5] However, existing toothbrush drier has disadvantages of big power consumption due to adoption of PTC heating heater, poor drying effects due to drying process through indirect heat rather than direct radiation, and complex structure.
[6] In addition, ultraviolet ray lamp (6) for sterilization may irritate eyes of users to tower the vision; requires costly maintenance since it is expensive, its lifecjcle is short and should be frequently replaced; has complicated structure and causes frequent failure since drying and sterilization are performed by separate devices. Technical Solution
[7] This Invention aims to solve the existing problems as above and to present a toothbrush drier that can dry and sterilize toothbrush through one device.
[8] In addition, this invention also aims to present economic toothbrush sterilizing drier which has simple structure, causes rare failure and requires little maintenance cost. Advantageous Effects
[9] According to the present invention, this invention is featured to have excelent effects of drying, sterilizing and deodorizing since it directly irradiates the far infrared rays on the bristle portion of the toothbrush using the carbon heating sheet; has strength of simple structure and reduced defect ratio since drying and sterilization are simultaneously accomplished by one heating sheet.
[10] In addition, this invention is very economic in that it is smal in volume, can reduce power consumption and does not require maintenance cost such as replacement of parts since ultraviolet ray lamp is not used. Brief Description of the Drawings
[11] The accompanying drawings, which are included to provide a further understanding of the invention and are incorporated in and constitute a part of this application, ilustrate an embodiment of the invention and together with the description serve to explain the principle of the invention. In the drawings;
[12] F1G1 is a sectional view of the part of the prior art of a toothbrush drier
[13] Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the toothbrush sterilizing drier according to the present invention.
[14] Fig. 3 is a fragmentary sectional view of the toothbrush sterilizing drier according to the present invention.
[15] Fig. 4 is a side sectional view of the toothbrush sterilizing drier according to the present invention. Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[16] Reference wil now be made in detail to the preferred embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are ilustrated in the accompanying drawings.
[17] To accomplish the purpose of this Invention, the toothbrush comprises the contr unit attached on one part of the housing member and adjusting time and temperature; a toothbrush holder forming a space on the upper therein and having several apertures linked to the said space; a carbon heating sheet sized to cover the tower part in the said space of above toothbrush holder and having a carbon heating sheet that is connected to internal wal of the housing and directly emits heat to the bristle portion of a toothbrush; and a covering sized to cover the front portion of the housing.
[18] This Invention is also featured to have ventilating holes on the upper part of the said toothbrush holder. [19] In addition, this Invention is also featured to alow insertion of various types of design patterns on the front of the said heating sheet.
[20] The structure of this Invention can be described in details referring to the drawings attached herein.
[21] Fig. 2 is the perspective view of the toothbrush sterilizing drier according to the present invention and Fig. 3 is a fragmentary sectional view of the toothbrush sterilizing drier according to the present invention.
[22] Fig. 4 is a side sectional view (A-A fragmentary sectional view of the Fig. 2) of the toothbrush sterilizing drier according to the present invention.
[23] This invention is equipped with a back plate (11) having adhesive tapes on the back or forming an aperture(l la) on the upper part to alow it to be hung on the wal; and a contrd unit (20) adjusting the drying time and temperature or turning the power on or off on the side.
[24] In addition, the housing (10) has a Toothbrush hdder (30) on its front upper part; the said toothbrush hdder (30) forms space (31) projecting to the front from the both sides of the housing (10) and has holding apertures (32) arranged in some interval on the said space (31). On the upper part of the above space (31), ventilating hde (33) is linked outside so as to drain the vapor generated during drying, resulting in prevention of offensive odor. Draining hde (12) is formed on the tower part of the housing to drain the water that fals from the toothbrush (1).
[25] In addition, carbon heating sheet (40) is connected inside the said toothbrush hdder (30), sized to cover the tower part of the housing, and hinged covering(13) is attached on the front of the housing to alow opening and closing.
[26] At this time, the said carbon (ceramic carbon fiber) heating sheet (40) is arranged to most closely approach the bristles of toothbrush of the toothbrush (1) that hangs on the said toothbrush hdder (30) so that the bristles of toothbrush can be directly dried up.
[27] In addition, various kinds of design patterns can be engraved on the front part of the said carbon heating sheet (40) including animation for children and landscape of nature. Toothpaste receiving part (50) is formed on the side of the said housing (1) to maximize its practical feature.
[28] Operation of this Invention in above structure can be explained as folows:
[29] After opening the covering (13) of toothbrush sterilizing drier of this Invention, mount the wet toothbrush (1) in the holding aperture (32) of the toothbrush hdder (30) and close the covering(13) again. Then, operate the contrd unit (20) to approve the power. Then, Carbon heating sheet (40) generates heat for the time and at the temperature set in advance to dry the toothbrush (1).
[30] At this time, drying, sterilizing and deodorizing of toothbrush can be accomplished simultaneously as the said carbon heating sheet (40) directly inadiates the far infrared ray and radiant heat at close range of bristle of toothbrush.
[31] In addition, as the wet toothbrush (1) is dried, the water fals down and drains to the draining hde (12). Vapor generated during drying process is ventilated to ventilating hde (33) on the upper part to keep inside the sterilizing drier at pleasant condition and to prevent propagation of bacteria or offensive odor.
[32] The forgoing embodiments are merely exemplary and are not to be construed as limiting the present invention. The present teachings can be readily applied to other types of apparatuses. The description of the present invention is intended to be illustrative, and not to limit the scope of the claims. Many alternatives, modifications, and variations wil be apparent to those skiled in the art.
