Abstract

The invention relates to a radio-ligand method for measuring the binding of a test agent to a P-glycoprotein preparation. The invention is a homogeneous scintillation proximity assay for quantifying the binding of a ligand and a test agent to a P-glycoprotein preparation. The assay is suitable for high-throughput screening to identify novel substrates/ inhibitors of P-glycoprotein.
