Abstract

The subject of industrial design is boat mooring hook designed for all kind of vessels, especially for mooring of yachts, sail or motor boats. Mooring hook has a form of pole having its working part consist of head body (1) with catch hook (2), mooring line ear (3) and hook blocking element (4). Recommended material of head body is light metal. Second part of mooring hook is detachable from the head (1) grip part in form of pole (11), equipped with control rod (7) and control handle (12). Connection stability of working part (1) with grip pole (11) is ensured by properly designed shape of internal part of working part head (1) and outer shape of grip pole end (11), snap fastener (10) with spring (9), grip-pole is finished with hand-grip.

Description

BOAT MOORING HOOK

The subject of industrial design is mooring boat hook designed for all kind of vessels, especially for mooring of yachts, sail or motor boats.

Mooring manoeuvre of all kind of vessels, like motor boats, sailing boats or yachts having more than 50 cm of board height and level of the deck over the water surface, has permanently difficult phase of holding ear of mooring buoy or mooring pile and passing mooring line through the ear and fasten firmly the line or only provisionally for temporary ship handling needs.

This kind of manoeuvres are especially difficult and dangerous on strong and high waving of water and strong wind, when fast and effective seizure of the mooring buoy ear or pile dolphin ring has vital importance for safety of the vessel and its crew, also for manoeuver of reduce the inertia of the vessel in front of wharf or platform.

Currently used devises for fastening of mooring line to mooring equipment have complicated construction but simultaneously have low effectiveness and not ensure fast and certain holding of mooring equipment. Known from description of Polish patent Nr 59102 appliance for mooring of vessels has a form of arm jointly mounted to the basic part of mooring assembly, and slide mounted on guide of the second part of the device. According to patent Nr 59102 description, the arm consists of catch, with located in its nest proximity detector, equipped with jaws mating with hydraulic servomotors and separate hydraulic servomotor of catch mounted into its joint.

The target of patent in subject is project and production of boat mooring hook having simple construction, which used from the deck of the vessel, especially size of yacht, will ensure easy, effective and solid fastening of mooring line to the ear or ring of mooring buoy or mooring post (dolphin).

The essence of the patent is mooring hook for vessels, especially for mooring of yachts, consists of its working head and grip part. Working part has a form of hook-head, equipped with catch hook, mooring line eye and hook blocking element, and the hook-head body is detachably seated at the tip of the grip part in form of pole fitted out with control rode, snap fastener, control handle and hand-grip.

Hook blocking element mounted on its rotation axle mating with control rod and spring, opens or locks hook depending on position of control rod. Head body of mooring hook has internal hole, recommended conical, in which is seated the tip of the grip part in form of pole, and stability of connection is ensured by properly formed shape of grip part tip (also conical) and snap fastener and spring. Control handle is joint by pin to control rod and hand-grip has recommended ball-shaped form. The merit of boat mooring hook being the subject of patent is its simple design, easy mounting and dismounting operations, user comfortable operation and aesthetic appearance.

The subject of the patent is shown at drawings, at figure 1. is presented side-view of boat mooring hook, figure 2. presents intersection of the hook head in connection with its grip part, figure 3. shows section of hook grip part in connection with control handle and hand grip. As shown at pictures boat mooring hook has a form of pole having its working part make up head body 1 with catch hook 2, mooring line ear 3 and hook blocking element 4. Recommended material of head body is light metal. Second part of mooring hook is detachable from the head I its grip part in form of pole LL equipped with control rod 7, control handle 12. Connection stability of working part 1 with grip pole JJ, is ensured by properly designed shape of internal part of the head 1 and outer shape of grip pole end 1_1, snap fastener 10, spring 9, grip part is finished with hand grip 14.

1. Boat mooring hook, especially for mooring yachts, consisting with working part and handle-grip part, characteristic of having its working part in form of head body (1) equipped with catch hook (2), mooring line ear (3) and hook blocking element (4), and the head body (i) is detachably mounted on handle-grip part in form of pole (11), equipped with control handle (12) and hand grip (14).

2. Boat mooring hook according to claim 1, characteristic of this, that hook blocking element fixed on rotation axle (5) opens or locks catch hook (2) by mating with control rod (7) and spring (6).

Boat mooring hook according to claim 1. characteristic of that head body (!) has internal hole, recommended conical, in which is seated the tip of the grip part on form of pole (l l)and stability of connection is ensured by properly formed shape of grip part tip (11) snap fastener (10) and spring (9).

4. Boat mooring hook according to claim 1, characteristic that control handle (12) is joint with control rod (7) by pin (13) and hand-grip (14) has recommended ball-shape form.
