Abstract

Cette invention relève du domaine médical et concerne plus précisément la traumatologie. Cette invention sert au traitement de factures d'os présentant une structure interne poreuse, telles qu'une fracture du col du fémur. Cette invention a pour but de permettre l'auto-fixation de la broche implantable dans le tissu osseux sans l'aide de moyens supplémentaires grâce aux processus biologiques naturels qui se produisent dans ledit tissu osseux à la suite de l'introduction de la broche implantable. Cette invention vise également à accroître les propriétés de résistance de la broche tout en réduisant son poids au minimum. Cette broche implantable comprend au moins un élément plan, l'épaisseur de la surface plane de cet élément étant comprise entre 1,0 et 2,0 mm, et comprend des trous traversants. Cette broche implantable peut se présenter sous la forme d'un double T comportant des faces aussi bien linéaires que courbes.
