Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Auslösen eines Insassenschutzsystems eines Fahrzeugs, insbesondere eines Personenkraftfahrzeugs, bei dem zumindest ein unfall-relevantes Sensorsignal, das von wenigstens einem Sensor generiert wird, als Arbeitssignal verwendet oder in ein Arbeitssignal umgesetzt wird, und das Arbeitssignal mit einem Schwellenwert verglichen wird und bei Erreichen und/oder Überschreiten des Schwellenwertes das Insassenschutzsystem ausgelöst wird. Der Schwellenwert wird hierbei in Abhängigkeit von wenigstens einem hochdynamischen, hindernisspezifischen und/oder crashverlaufsabhängigen Merkmal verändert und/oder das Arbeitssignal in Abhängigkeit von dem wenigstens einen hochdynamischen, hindernisspezifischen und/oder crashverlaufsabhängigen Merkmal gewichtet. Erfindungsgemäß wird der Schwellenwert zusätzlich in Abhängigkeit von wenigstens einem geringdynamischen, fahrzeugspezifischen Merkmal und/oder wenigstens einem statischen, fahrzeugspezifischen Merkmal verändert und/oder das Arbeitssignal in Abhängigkeit des wenigstens einen geringdynamischen, fahrzeugspezifischen Merkmals und/oder des wenigstens einen statischen, fahrzeugspezifischen Merkmals gewichtet. Weiterhin betrifft die Erfindung eine Steuerungsvorrichtung (50) zum Auslösen eines Insassenschutzsystems eines Fahrzeugs im Falle eines Unfalls, insbesondere zum Durchführen des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens.
