L'invention porte sur un procédé de fabrication de chlore à pureté élevée par électrolyse, dans un électrolyseur à membrane, d'une saumure de chlorure de sodium contaminée par des bromures, au cours duquel la saumure est oxydée de manière à transformer les bromures en bromates.
