Description

A COOLING DEVICE
This invention relates to a cooling device that comprises a bottle holder which is located on the shelves and eases preservation of bottles.
There are various solutions for bottles containing food and beverage that are intended to be preserved, in order not to occupy too much space of the interior volume of the cooling device. Generally, these solutions are bottle holders of various forms which are located above and below the racks that divide the inner capacity of a cooling device.
In the prior art, United States Patent 2005939 describes, a wire construction bottle holder which has a cage based, having a protrusion over the mouth of the bottle, which has a form suited to the shape of the bottle, and which is placed under a wire shelf and mounted to a wire shelf that is located inside a cooling device.
In the prior art, United States Patent 2008315 describes a storage structure where one or more bottles are placed. This structure is mounted under the shelf located inside a cooling device and is a without top surface.
In the prior art, United States Patent 2018002 describes again a bottle holder which is located under a shelf placed in a cooling device. The characteristic property of this bottle holder is that it is formed by one or more compartments in a form such that both the body and the mouth of the bottle, especially wine bottle, can rest. This bottle holder is also preferably wire.
However, in the prior art, German Patent 19821823 describes a structure that is independent from the shelf inside a cooling device. This structure is a wire construction and cage based bottle holder which is attached to the recesses and protrusions resting on the sidewalls where shelves are mounted inside a cooling device, which is also suited to the shape of the bottle; furthermore, is used separately from other shelves. This bottle holder is placed in an inclined position inside a cooling device.
Under circumstances where bottle holders described in above patents are not used inside a cooling device, bottle holders occupy too much space interior volume of the cooling device. For this reason, only those bottle holders that do not occupy too much space interior volume of the cooling device and in which only a single bottle can be placed are developed.
In the United States Patent 2666613, a bottle holder which is in the shape of a cylindrical ring mounted on one of the strings of the wire construction shelf, in a form that would wrap the bottle is described.
In the prior art, German Patent 2653303; however, describes again a bottle holder in a hook structure that is mounted on one of the strings which form the wire construction shelf.
In the current state of art, British Patent 2158705 describes a bottle holder that enables only a single bottle to be stored and that is constructed from polypropylene that is attached under the shelf.
Another method developed for attaching these bottle holders of which only their supporting surfaces can be attached on wire construction shelves, on closed base shelves, is the realization of a bottle holder which is formed by extending a handle which is fixed on the shelf, from the side of the rack and further bending it towards the bottom of the shelf. This type of a bottle holder is described in United States Patent 5323917. In the invention described in this patent, the bottle holder is in a structure that has a closed base supporting surface and is inclined.
In the German Patent 19821824, similar to the above mentioned US Patent, what is described is the invention of a bottle holder by extending a handle which is fixed on the shelf, from the side of the shelf and again bending it towards the bottom of the shelf. This bottle holder has a cage based supporting surface and is made of wire.
In the prior art, German Patent 19949238; however, describes a wire construction bottle holder that is mounted especially under the racks that are fixed on the door of a cooling device and in a form such that it would move along the base of a rack.
In the prior art, German Patent 19631374 describes a bottle holder that enables bottle shaped articles to be stored horizontally. With this patent, a holding device that is placed under the shelf and a bottle holder that is foldable and two position movable and mounted on this holding device is described. This bottle holder can be folded and would lean towards the bottom section of the rack when not being used; thus, providing efficient utilization of the interior volume of the cooling device.
In the prior art, British Patent 2174891 describes a bottle holder that is attached below the rack of a cooling device and enables especially wine bottles to be stored horizontally. This bottle holder comprises of a supporting frame and an opening inside this frame.
The aim of this invention is the realization of a cooling device that comprises a bottle carrier that provides bottles to be stored and carried, and further occupying less volume.
The cooling device realized in order to attain the object of this invention has been illustrated in the attached figures, where: Fig 1 is a perspective view of a bottle carrier that comprises a single bottle holder.

is a perspective view of a cooling device comprising a bottle carrier. Parts shown in the drawing numbered one by one as follows:
1- Cooling device 2- Shelf 3- Rail group 4- Rail 5- Bottle carrier 6- Bottle holder 7- Slipway 8- Frame 9- Opening 10- Connector 11- Support unit
A cooling device (1) comprises a body in which articles intended to be cooled are placed, a door that provides access to inside from outside, one or more shelves (2) that are placed inside at different heights, one or more rail group (3) which are fixed to the inner wall of the body or the shelf (2) on the horizontal or vertical axis and that are parallel to each other, one or more bottle carriers (5) that are placed on the rail group (3), and providing one bottle to be stored when moved over the rail group (3) provided that their horizontal or vertical axis intercept; and enabling storage of more bottles when they do not intercept; thus, prevents to occupying more space interior volume.
Rail group (3) comprises at least one rail (4) located side by side. Rail group (3) can be attached or detached when desired.
In the preferred embodiment of the invention, rail group (3) comprises one or more rail (4) located side by side. In one alternative embodiment of the invention, the rail group (3) is located opposite each other where at least one is fixed on the front edge, and at least one on the rear edge of the shelf (2). Moreover, these rail groups (3) can move parallel to each other.
The bottle carrier (5) mentioned comprises a slipway (7) provide mounting on the rail group (3), an opening (9) as wide as it would allow a bottle to be smoothly stored horizontally or vertically and a frame (8) defining the boundaries of this opening (9) (Figure 1).
The slipway (7) has preferably a "T" profile shape and is passed through the rail group (3) that located on the shelf (2) or the inner wall of the body. By passing the slipway (7) through the rail group (3), moving one or more bottle carriers (5) is provided along the rail group (3). The frame (8) can be a sole part with the slipway (7) or can be separately attached to the slipway (7). In the preferred embodiment of the invention the frame (8) is formed by bending it curvilinear and fixing both open ends on top of the slipway (7).
In one application, bottle carrier (5) comprises a single bottle holder (6) that is attached to at least one rail group (3) which placed on the shelf (2) or inner wall of the body. The bottle carrier (5) is comprising a single bottle holder (6) is passed through on one the rails (4) resting on a rail group (3) and the bottle is placed on a bottle carrier (5) such that it is on a hook inside the frame (8) and such that the centre of gravity of a bottle remains along the plane of the frame (8). Therefore, the bottle can be stored horizontally under the shelf (2) of the cooling device (1). For this embodiment, since the centre of gravity of every bottle is different, containing and storing the bottle inside a bottle carrier (5) create some problems. The bottle carrier (5) that is attached to the rail group (3) moves along the rail group (3). When the bottle carrier (5) is not utilized, more than one bottle carriers (5) that are attached on different rails (4) of a rail group system (3) are moved along rails (4) and aligned by coinciding their horizontal and vertical axis.
In the practical approach of the invention enabling the bottle to be carried and stored in a way that prevents it from falling and where a bottle carrier (5) is comprising only one bottle holder (6) is employed; a connector (10), which is preferably a construction made of wire, is fixed on the frame (8) of a bottle holder (6) that is attached on the rail (4) by means of a slipway (7), and on top of it there exists more than one support unit (11) that wraps fully or partially the projecting parts outside the frame (8), of a bottle that is passed through a frame (8) and that is hooked on this frame (8). With this embodiment, storing and carrying a bottle by preventing it from falling is achieved when the bottle is carried by sustaining the centre of gravity of a bottle that is hooked on the frame (8), between the frame (8) and the support unit (11). The connector (10) is preferably fixed on the outer surface of the frame (8), and in order to bring more than one bottle carrier (5) aligned by coinciding their horizontal and vertical axis, each of the connectors (10) are fixed on different points along the frame (8) (Figure 3).
In another embodiment of the invention, bottle carrier (5) comprises at least two bottle holders (6) that are attached oppositely on two rail group (3) that located opposite each other on the shelf (2) or on the inner walls of the body. In the embodiment developed to carry and store a bottle, bottle carrier (5) comprising two independent bottle holders (6) are placed oppositely on a rail group (3).
Therefore, both the front and back of the bottle placed in a bottle carrier (5), is supported by bottle holders (6) that are located both on the back and the front side.
In this embodiment, since the centre of gravity of the bottle is maintained between the bottle holders (6), bottle can be stored safely. However, moving two bottle holders (6) that are independent from each other and that are fixed on the rails (4) located on the back and the front of the shelf (2), concurrently and equiaxed, creates problems (Figure 2).
Under circumstances where a bottle carrier (5) formed by two bottle holders (6), in order to enable two bottle holders (6) to move concurrently and equiaxed, frames (8) of bottle holders (6) that are fixed oppositely to different rail systems (3), are connected to each other by a connector (10). In this case, when the bottle holder (6) located to the front is moved, the bottle holder (6) that is located on the back also moves harmonically (Figure 4). In the preferred embodiment of the invention, frames (8) of the above mentioned bottle holders (6) that are placed oppositely to each other on different rail groups (3), are connected to each other by means of a connector (10) where above them more than one support units (11) are located. Therefore, bottle is supported from more than one point and storing and placing this bottle to a bottle carrier (5) by not falling it, is provided (Figure 5).
One or more bottle carriers (5) are attached to the rails (4) of a rail group (3) and when these bottle carriers (5) that are placed on different rails (4) of a rail group (3) are not utilized, they are aligned by coinciding their horizontal and vertical axis when they are moved along these rails (4) and occupation of too much space inside a cooling device (1) is prevented (Figure 6, Figure 7, Figure 8a, Figure 8b and Figure 9). In order to prevent the interception of the horizontal axis of bottle carriers (5) is comprising connectors. (10), these connectors (10) are fixed on different parts of the frame (8). Therefore, bottle carriers (5) when aligned by coinciding their horizontal and vertical axis, connectors (10) do not intercept.
In the preferred embodiment of the invention, two rail groups (3) are comprising three rails (4) located side by side, are placed parallel to each other to the front and back of the shelf (4). On each of the rails (4) of a rail group (3), a bottle carrier (5) is comprising two bottle holders (6) that are connected to each other by means of connectors (10) which have support units (11) is attached. When these bottle carriers (5) are aligned, the connector (10) that is located on the bottle carrier (5) near the inner wall of the body is located to the side of (8) this bottle carrier's (5) frame (8) which is near the inner wall of the body. On the other hand, the connectors (10) that are attached to other bottle carriers (5) that would be aligned with this bottle carriers (5) are fixed to the side of the frame (8) of bottle carriers (5) that faces in sequence, the middle and the interior volume of a cooling device (1). Furthermore, support units (11) that are located on all connectors (10) are attached to separate points on the connector (10) in a way that they would not intercept with bottle carriers (5) when bottle carriers (5) are aligned. Therefore, connectors (10) and support units (11) would not intercept with each other when bottle carriers (5) are aligned (Figure 6, Figure 7, Figure 8a and Figure 8b).
By means of the movable bottle carriers (5) located in a cooling device (1) which is the subject of this invention, bottle carriers (5) that are brought upon the same line can carry the bottles.
