Abstract

A portable air conditioner (1) comprising a horizontal supporting base (2) having an upper surface (2a) and a covering element (4) to be associated to the peripheral edge (3) of supporting base (2) so as to define together with the upper surface (2a) of said base (2) a containing compartment (5); a condensing unit (9), an evaporating unit (10) and a compressor (11) for a refrigerating fluid are placed one beside another and associated in the containing compartment (5) and in particular on the upper surface (2a) of supporting base (2).
