Abstract

This invention relates to marking a bottle automatically and indelibly while opening its cap initially, comprising a bottle and its cap attached by screwing means (H, J). Below the screwing means (H, J), the bottle has a receptacle (B) aligned with a hole (D) on the circular wall (K) of the cap. The receptacle (B) is connected by a piped passage (C), passing within the wall of the bottle's neck terminating at a vent (G) below. A capsule (A) containing indelible ink is inserted into said receptacle through the cap’s hole (D) and glued inextricably. While opening the cap, its circular wall (K) presses against the capsule (A), breaking it open inwardly and spreading the ink into said piped passage (C) up to the vent (G). Advantage: The marking process assures the consumer that the content of the bottle is genuine. The mark remaining on the bottle permanently thereafter assures the manufacturer that this bottle cannot be re-used for marketing imitation products.
