Abstract

La présente invention concerne un structure d'acide nucléique dans laquelle une molécule d'acide nucléique est configurée pour le silençage de l'expression d'aldolase thréonine. La présente invention concerne aussi une structure contenant une molécule d'acide nucléique codant une aldolase thréonine et une séquence de ciblage mitochondriale. L'invention porte aussi sur des vecteurs d'expression, des cellules hôtes, des plantes et des grains des plantes transformées avec des structures d'acide nucléique de la présente invention. L'invention concerne aussi des aliments pour animaux ou pour humains contenant des grains de plantes transformées. L'invention concerne des procédés pour augmenter la teneur des plantes en thréonine et en isoleucine, ainsi qu'un procédé pour produire une plante mutante présentant des taux plus élevés de thréonine dans les grains en comparaison à un plante non mutante.
