Abstract

The invention relates to an injection unit (1) for injection molding machines, which comprises an electric motor (30) for the controlled application of nozzles and displacement of the unit. Two parallel hydraulic cylinders (11, 11') are activated by an electromotive hydrostatic transmission (27, 28, 60) associated with the two cylinders for the controlled application of nozzles and displacement of the unit. An accumulator (26), especially a low-pressure accumulator, remains permanently connected for the low-pressure side during operation.
