Art Domain
The invention conception of multifunctional gauge with use for mechanical metering of length, angles, surface perpendicularity or drawing of circles is suited either for carpenters, joiners, glaziers, painters, masons or another craftsmen, or for fitting rooms, maintenance and handymen use.
Present prior art
In a current time it is used for metering of length, angles, or surface perpendicularity by mechanical way, variety of rulers, protractors, T squares or multifunction drawing instruments, whose permit more or less accurate metering. This either single-purpose or multi-purpose gauges made of various materials such a wood, metal, alloys or plastic, make for user possible find out the required gauges with more or less comfort.
Apart from another solutions the patent CZ 279 352 is noted. This Patent solve construction of all-purpose protractor, which is consisted of semicircular plateau disc which is rollover way clamped to firm plateau arm and to the disc midpoint is added (with spin ability) another plateau arm equipped with subtraction index. This more complicated metering mechanism, serving only to metering of the angles and not to creating them and it is equipped with two additional parallelograms for repelling of metering arm out of plateau disc. Disadvantage is ability of metering just inner angles in intervals 0°-180 ° degree's, but angles 0 , 180 and angles close to them are impossible from construction consideration to change.
It is also known solution according to patent GB 2 352 039 dealing with device able to metering two bulks all at once. This device is consisted of two rulers,
rectangle cross-sectioned with midpoint lengthwise opening and mutually connected by joint, which is equipped with plateau disc.
Both rulers are able to adjust in way where is possible to metering not only angle between two arms but their lengths as well.
Disadvantage of this solution is that base surface of rulers are not in the same level, this device is just for metering but not for creating of the angles and tightening midpoint joint is not equipped with any indexing appliance for step (jump)function of rulers into desired angles.
The object of publicized application US 2003/0074800 is construction of telescopic ruler with fixation of the drawing-out part position. The base is ruler with bilateral scale that is equipped from bottom with T-groove for guidance of the rectangular cross-sectioned narrower ruler. This inner ruler is possible to uncouple from basic ruler always about the certain step, whose size identified by distance of the openings created in basic ruler.
Push out ruler is than fixated in elected position by spring-loaded peg, which lock-on into basic ruler opening. Disadvantage of this solution is that serve only to extension of allowance scale of basic ruler, whereas moreover subtracting scale do not lies in same bisector with basic ruler scale, which has influence on accuracy of metering. In general knowledge is also solution of protractor in conjunction with folding rule according to patent DE 195 34 059, which is about single-purpose accessory that allows metering of the angles by the help of folding rule with hold-down possibility of required angle. Disadvantage of this construction is that swivel joint for determination of the angles it is not equipped with any indexing apparatus for angles setting spontaneous run.
The common disadvantage of all known solutions is that they do not allow the complex utilize, that mean after simple operative transposition or replacement of constructional parts metering of the distance, angles, surface perpendicularity
or creating of the angles or drawing circles namely with warranted accuracy of transacted operations.
